  1. So you watched the whole video - I know what you mean - I found it incredible -
  2. This is a Take off and landing at the old Hong Kong Airport in a make believe Hong Kong. For a tour of the Make Believe Hong Kong please go here: For the Music please go here:
  3. I have had endless hours of fun in using FS Recorder in FSX. In fact in FSX Motor Sports Racing, its the closest you will get to multiplayer if not in multiplayer - In the Gold Edition of FSX I have had it work well. In the Steam FSX its been some trial and error -
  4. Opps - I forgot to address the cars which although not animated as of yet, plans are underway for their V2.0 release where they are. Version 1.3 and 1.3.x have been the remaining releases where basic engineering has been accounted for. An example is in matching or even bettering lap records by 5 or so seconds for the most challenging tracks in the world like the Nordschleife like in the video above -
  5. Hi Welker: You know, you are so right about kids these days. Actually they expect a lot more for their gaming time, and VC's would certainly have to have more bells and whistles or they more than likely will move on to another game that has that instead. I also hope that you are again focused on how you see getting the most out of your FSX. I have been using FSX also for many years, and frankly have been deeply impressed with its capabilities as a baseline simulator for, in addition to air, both sea and land. What I like about Motor Sports in FSX, as compared to PC Racing Games that are not simulators, FSX offers , just like in flight, a far more hands on experience. I run FSX rather differently when focused on aviation than on motor sports. To start with - generally max settings could imply that during use for aviation VFR or high altitude flight, sucking in cloud and ground textures is somewhat required if you are going to have anything worth looking at from the air. Hopefully it does not impact your flight performance - Lime Rock was not designed with Max Settings in mind, but instead what settings are needed, which actually are minimal. About your install Hanging - well, we could look at that closer if you wish - but its rather unusual considering that videos demonstrate having 30-50 race cars at a time running smoothly in an installed instance of Lime Rock 4 FSX. Most importantly about FSX performance with Lime Rock 4 FSX - By removing, "LimeRock_PittCars.bgl", "LimeRock_Porsches.bgl", and "LimeRock_Vintage.bgl" from your LimeRock4FSXScenery folder, your graphics system will not have to digest these heavy weights during the first lap.
  6. These look really nice - congrats on the work - when I get caught up, will put these to the test at Lime Rock 4 FSX , Indy 4 FSX, Le Mans 4 FSX, Nurburgring / Nordschleife 4 FSX -
  7. Hi Beana5 - The FPS Issue for the first lap has been isolated. By removing, "LimeRock_PittCars.bgl", "LimeRock_Porsches.bgl", and "LimeRock_Vintage.bgl" from your LimeRock4FSXScenery folder, your graphics system will not have to digest during the first lap. Run on a 2.6 Gig hz / I780 Graphics, , 4 Gig Mem, the first lap is impeded by an FPS drop in specific locations around the track. By removing the files noted above, there was no FPS drop observed in the first lap. But again, if you want some cool car scenery in the Lime Rock 4 FSX install, just be prepared for a small FPS drop intermittently in the first lap.
