  1. I am sorry... I believe it is a lovely monitor due to its specs but it is too much money for now... Unfortunately the GPU was too expensive because we are living with GPU shortage. I thought monitors where you feel the real immersion would be less expensive. :( I hope to have a good decision with the Alienware AW3420DW. It costs already more than I was thinking.
  2. I see a lot of people saying that HDR is not good implemented and the difference for 8 bit is not really big... Is that so?
  3. Maybe someone knows if 8 bits is very different than 8 bits plus FRC.
  4. So, the Allienware is better. And Acer X34P with 8 bit colour + FRC? Is it too much difference from an 8 bit colour monitor?
  5. A very interesting article, however it does not answer to my question, also because those 10 identified monitors are not available in my country, and I believe not everywhere as well...
  6. Hi After thinking, rethinking, having some extra bugdet and seeing that good monitors are also in shortage like GPUs, I have now two options for a good Microsoft Flight Simulator monitor at a great discount: - Dell Allienware AW3420DW with G-Sync native, 3440*1440, but no HDR >>> 850 euros - LG 48A16LA 48" OLED UltraHD 4K with fixed refresh rate at 60 Hz and HDR10 (is it true?) >>> 1015 euros My main problem is tearing, lag or stutters when MSFS is going to 20-30 fps since I like to have all types of extra addons installed like AI aircraft, volumetric clouds and so on... Going down to 25/30 fps, it seems that a G-Sync native monitor is better but I lose the HDR... Which one to choose? I still have one day to decide... I will also use the same monitor for video editing. My main specs are: i9-10900K, Asus RTX 3090 OC, MSI MEG Z490 ACE, RAM 32 GB 3200 CL16 and Kraken Z73.
  7. I am building a new computer... When I say "I have Asus RTX 3090 and i9-10900K..." I mean "I will have" because they are in my room prepared to be unpacked together with all other computer parts.
  8. Hi Is this a goof monitor to MSFS? - Monitor Asus TUF Gaming VG27AQ1A IPS 27" QHD 170Hz FreeSync / G-SYNC Compatible It seems that monitors with HDR10 are good, but with 48-144 Hz of RR and when FS is "set" more or less between 20 and 60 fps, I will get tearing, stutters and so on. Is it true? Someone said that I should buy a monitor with fixed rate like 60 Hz, but then I cannot take profite of the monitor in other things and I cannot be over 60 frames as well. Another person said I will get problems at 30, at 45 and 60 fps. I don't know which kind of problems. Since this discussion of choosing a new monitor is taking already more than 3 months in other foruns, I would like to have an answer about this monitor first, because it is in a good price. For second option, an opinion about Monitor LG 27" 27GL850-B IPS QuadHD 144Hz FreeSync which is G-Sync compatible as well. I have Asus RTX 3090 and i9-10900K and I would like to fly in a 2K resolution with Ultra settings and all extra addons. a 4K resolution will probably drop frames down to 20 with all those extras. Thanks.
