    Sorry but you are wrong....many D520 models were captured in France after the german free zone invasion of November 42 in rupture of the armistice of 1940 and in response to the operation Torch in North Africa. Then, some of them were retroceded to their Italian ally ! The same thing for armored Renault R35 facing allied forces in Sicilia! In June 40, Italy declared war on France and UK!
