  1. So for non Acceleration versions I have to do a full resintall and then do the method you've provided me with? Cus I tried it with FSX already installed and it didn't solve my problem.
  2. I got the service pack from the thread that has the downloads for both, then I tried other sites but they gave me the same results. Even using the wayback machine to get the service pack off the Microsoft site didn't work.
  3. So after a dozen or so attempts to reinstall I've figured that the installer for SP1 is trying to install it into C drive and despite me giving all users full control permissions on it, it still refuses to install, it'll extract the files but not go any further than that error.
  4. That's what I thought as well until I reinstalled into another place on my laptop.
  5. Even reinstalling FSX to another directory didn't work.
  6. It is installed there, is that what's causing it?
  7. Long time lurker and FSX user, I've just recently installed the game via both of my Deluxe disks which went without any issues, then when I got around to installing service pack 1 this greeted me: Is there anyway to get around it? I've searched almost all of the results google gave me and none of them seem to line up with my issue. Any help would be appreciated.
