  1. Wouldn't there be Registry issues moving it from C:\Program Files to C:\? I will say that the Laptop I'm currently using has a 'vanilla' Install of W7 Pro 64 bit, and I purposely turned Win Updates OFF. I loaded Nine from the Disks into C:\ + 9.1 and the No CD Fix. Nine is the only thing on this HD other than W7 and Silent Hunter 4 (Submarine Sim). No Internet connection, either... just like the Galactica.
  2. To prevent further confusion, perhaps for future Events we should keep things to one single Thread for the entire Event.
  3. Welcome to Denver! Since you're going to have Techs swarming over your Spit for the next few days that'll work out okay 'cause the Wx is gonna turn tomorrow. Increasing winds and Precip moving in for the next week with afternoon T showers. Fire away if you have any questions! C U at the Perfect Landing!
  4. There was Orbiter, and the Kerbal Space Program (?) that was once available but I don't think it is anymore. You could do all kinds of Space oriented stuff; Apollo CSM/LM docking, STS Flights/Re-entry, etc. Musk man and his Rocket company put out an ISS Docking Simulator to play with... https://iss-sim.spacex.com/ h. Sapiens going to Mars? Not until the Shielding thing is figured out. Can't complete the Mission if Astros/Cosmos are too sick to work or their junk keeps falling off! Nope, we ain't ready to take that next step... yet.
  5. Like I said... I'll never tell. It was two score ago and in another life.
  6. Usually when you get the "Microsoft Flight Simulator has stopped working" Message, there's an option for 'More Details'. Click that and read the Summary that follows. What's it telling you?
  7. I've got the AAF airfields installed, and they're great for recreating USAAF training missions using old Warbirds!
  8. I was just thinking that it would have been nice if these were for Nine, because they would fit very nicely in either a Golden or Silver Wings Install! The Time period would be just about right, and with CalClassic period Scenery you'd have a pretty 40's & 50's Sim World!
  9. The 'origins' of the name "Bowlachili" are [CLASSIFIED] and are known only to the Originator of the Name... [REDACTED].
  10. All this time, and I never realized your airplane flew on Gypsy Queens! One thing's for certain; they're very durable engines.
  11. Glad you're here to provide the 'gouge' to help folks out. It's what sets this place apart from the Others.
  12. Now that sounds pretty bizzare... asking for the Disc when there isn't one!
  13. I'd call it an OK PASS; no unnecessary Calls, in the groove... the Grade every Naval Aviator aims for!
  14. When you depart KRCA, turn South to 190°, fly for 40 minutes and land on 17L at Centennial (KAPA). Go to the Perfect Landing Restaurant and meet me for Lunch! Here's the Menu: https://theperfectlanding.com/our-menu/ Alan
  15. There's a YouTube video of ATC Audio at Kennedy, it's late at night and by the sounds of it, pretty quiet night. JALCargo 747 gets Clearance from Approach, the Pilot requests a different Runway 'cause the JALCargo Ramp is at the end of the Runway he wants. Approach gives him the Runway; sounds like the 747 has to make a pretty tight turn to Runway heading. Pilot asks Tower how tight he needs to make the Turn, Approach tells him "Whatever you think looks good; I'm just gonna stand here and watch you do your thing. Looks like it's gonna be a heck of a Show!" Or another one in Philadelphia (I think) where they were towing the aircraft carrier USS forestall up the river to Port, and the Approach to KPHL was on the same Heading. Approach would call to incoming Aircraft and end each radio call with "Call The Ball". Most responded with "Roger Ball".
