  1. Hello so I have an issue, I decided to upgrade from 4.5 to 5.1 with the latest hotfix that was released a week ago, I noted however that all of the cockjpits for all aircraft are very dark. This occurs irregardless of weather enhanced atmospheric is on or not and the same goes with HDR. This is a clean install and I reinstalled again but it still occurs. Is this a bug that LM is aware of? Because at this point it's a dealbreaker and I don't know what to do to fix it. Here are what I'm talking about, it was made with the FSL A321 which was updated to support 5.1.
  2. Hello guys, got a question for P3D 4.5 and the dynamic lighting bleeding into the cockpit. Is it possible with dynamic lighting enabled to disable it shining/bleeding into the cockpit but keep it for external views? For example when I'm parked at the ramp can I stop the lower panels being lit up by the ramp lights bleeding through the overhead?
  3. Ok here is a pic from FSElite that shows the haze effect I want to simulate. As you see there is a film or layer of light haze across the ground, I want to find a way to simulate this with PTA however I have not been able to find any formulas so far. I really want this haze effect in my sim, the current haze tweak I have so far only shows it at the outermost distance rather than uniform like as shown in the pic.
  4. Anybody here use PTA? I want to put the haze effect into the sim like this where it gets thicker with altitude.
  5. Hello I have PTA and I wish to make a preset that closely emulates the effects and especially high altitude/haze effects on the ground seen in the photo. I want them to work in P3D 4.5. What tweaks and values should I use?
  6. The airport works perfectly fine in P3D 4.5, even has dynamic lighting that can be added to it. The only thing that does not work is the jetways, someone had a config file that replaced them with the SODE jetways and it made them compatible.
  7. As the title says my flight plan that is generated by simbrief has a departure UTC along with a local time with it. For example a departure from KDTW with UTC 15:55 and 10:55 AM local time. The issue however is that P3D for some reason is a hour ahead so it's more like UTC 15:55 and 11:55 AM when it's supposed to be 10:55 AM. I don't know why it is doing this, I thought it could be daylight savings so I tried this with all 4 seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter and they all gave me the same thing; the local time being 1 hour ahead in the sim and it does not match the flight plan. The UTC is correct I just don't know how to fix the local time being the same as on the flight plan. I have Sim Tweaks time zone fixer installed but it still continues to persist. I remember I fixed this in the past but for some reason it started doing it again once I upgraded from 4.4 to 4.5 and I forgot how I fixed it.
  8. Hello all So I have the Kuala Lumpur scenery from A_A sceneries but it is for P3D v3. So far I installed it into P3D 4.5 no issue except that SODE does not work with it and the jetways are static. Does anyone have a AFCAD where there is SODE jetways for it?
  9. Hello Is someone here willing to take my offer and paint an Amjet Executive livery for the Maddog X? It's a private/charter jet and would be nice to have some corporate MD-80s in the sim. I can send pictures to you if you want as a reference, I have over 9+ of them. Aircraft registration is SX-IFA from Amjet Executive.
  10. Hello all As a veteran FSX/P3D v3 member what I did was transition a few months ago to P3D v4 and I have to say I'm loving it. However I took a bit of a break from the ESP scene and tried X-Plane 11 out. I liked it very much and one of my fauvorite plugins was the HeadShake plugin which "shakes" the camera during turbulence. Having never used a camera addon for P3D or FSX I would like to know which addons recreate head shaking during turbulence the most realistically. Another thing I liked about X-Plane was that the camera controls were a lot less clunky than in P3D, I could "fly" the camera around the cockpit which was very helpful especially during preflight. Can you guys recommend a addon that most replicates the camera system from X-Plane & with realistic headshake during day taxi, takeoff, turbulence, & landing. I have been looking at a few options such as EzDok which seems to be very well know in the flight sim community. Also I've heard of ChasePlane by FSFX which is still in beta last time I checked. So which camera addon shall I get?
