  1. As my dad used to say. If it aint broke, don't fix it.
  2. Hey thanks for the feedback. I will check out that video on modifying the AI traffic. I really hope some payware or freeware AI traffic comes online soon.
  3. Agree. Probably keeping it civil is a good idea. I have many questions for MSFS. I was hoping that they would have provided some representation at the FS convention in San Diego. (as of yet I have not seen Asobo on the list). I have some legit questions, like study level a/c support, AI liveries, expanded support for FS2 Crew and GSX and my biggest peeve underwater bridges and docks. I like it, but it just doesn't meet the level of maxed out that I am used too. I got this $2500 computer just for MSFS.
  4. Has anyone heard of any AI traffic that will be available for MSFS? I am looking for something like Just Flight? I have not heard of any pay ware in development. There was some freeware being developed, but I heard those plans were scrapped. I just don't like flying with Orbit, Soar, Pacifica or World Travel.
  5. Are you a member of the Asobo dev ops team? I mean really this MSFS platform is a joke. MSFS should have built on FSX. There is no reason for all of these hot fixes at all. Oh it is the Bill Gates way of doing business after all. Release a crappy product and say it is good enough. I paid over $100 for a simulator than runs far worse than it predecessor FSX. It is screwed up! The screwed developers and hopefully in turn screwed themselves! Xplane and Prepar are such a better deal in that they are at least stable! Update after update, I mean let down after let down. Stop defending those who are getting paid a salary to not do their job which is to provide an a least decent product for their customers.
  6. I once asked a DAL ticketing agent for a flight to this airport. It didn't happen.
  7. I think just like with FSX, I will wait for the major update before I purchase.
  8. Of all the planes I have purchased, this by far is my favorite. I used to fly only MD-80s but this 737 is so cool and works great with my other addons. I love this plane!
  9. I just wonder how the FAA let this fly? There has to be some ownership on the FAA's part, right?
  10. Wow this is some detail! I remember when I started with Flight Simulator 2 and all there was a 2D or map view wire frame airports, and a cool dog fight thing you could do against some wire frame aircraft that looked like tie-fighters if I remember correctly.
  11. I am glad to see I am not just one of the few who is not hyped about Flight Simulator. Even so with FSX in its decade of existence, this program (FSX) has so much to offer. Other than cool satellite quality graphics, in the upcoming Flight Simulator release, I feel it looks like I will be flying in that Will Smith movie where New York is dead and void of people except zombies. The only thing I am hoping for is a better ATC engine, I only fly with default ATC. With all that being said...I am wondering if it is even worth designing stuff for FSX. I will post my creations as I do, but it just seems the number of downloads are dwindling. I have a few more projects I am working on in San Diego, Eugene and Pearl Harbor. My intention is to wait on the purchase of Flight Simulator until after a year. I know some folks still use FS9, and I would too if I hadn't broke that magical required disk. But I feel it is better to wait for all the bugs get worked out and wait for some add-on availability. Another issue is that I have so much $ invested in FSX too. :(
