  1. 2 things you can check. in the aircraft.cfg file under the [fltsim.x] entries make sure sim= matches the file name of the .air file, for example if the .air file is 747.air then the entry should be "sim=747" without the .air extension. second, in the model folder open the model.cfg file and make sure there is no .mdl extension, for example it should say normal=747, not normal=747.mdl. the entry after normal= is the model file name minus the .mdl extension
  2. never mind, found an fsx version that had .bmp textures as well, thx anyway
  3. Any painters interested in doing the new Northern Pacific Airlines 757-200 TDS or QW or CS? I would be very grateful, thx https://www.airlinereporter.com/2022/03/the-livery-series-northern-pacific-airways/
  4. do you do regular cleaning of the cooling fan and exhaust ports? sounds like graphics card may be overheating
  5. the tds airbus does not have a vc. tds uses a vc entry in the panel.cfg solely for their tds gauge that is used to control animations. if you get another panel to use it is important to copy the vc entry into the new panel.cfg along with the gauges if they are not in your gauge folder yet, along with the 2d panel windows entries that are tds related
  6. is this a laptop or desktop? have you checked with ur puter mfg to see if there is an update for the BIOS? Have you checked the fs9 display settings to make sure u have the proper graphics card selected? have you checked ur system power settings to ensure u are using high performance power plan? just throwing ideas out there.....
  7. didn't work for me, unless i had setting wrong but i had wind smoothing set to no more than 1 knot or degree per second but still had an issue with the wind speed/direction when an update occurred at high altitude
  8. well, a big ol' pile of egg on my face. when you have multiple email addresses make sure you remember which one you used to place your order.... I apologize to the good folks at fsmeteo for disparaging their good name. good thing me credit card company never answered (on hold over 1 hr, finally gave up)
  9. I purchased both of these on 12/26. FS Global seems to work well, I had been using FSrealwx but was always getting overspeed/stall situtations at altitude when the wind would shift violently with each update. Haven't had that issue with fs global. fs meteo on the other hand, ordered 12/26, credit card was charged 12/27, it's 12/29 and I have received nothing from them. I emailed them through the "contact us" on their site and few hours later received email not deliverable from my email service. I am on the phone with my credit card company now to dispute the charge.
  10. not a waste of time, it may help others who have a similar issue in the future. thanks for posting what the fix was.
  11. oh, thx, i have a bad habit of not checking my inbox.
  12. i would be forever grateful if you could pm it to me. thx!
  13. where did u find the utilities? i've been scouring the internet off and on for years looking for those, never was able to find them
  14. care to share how you got it handled in case others may want to pursue acquiring those airports? thx
  15. yeah, i saw that but it's fsx/prepar3d, and i don't have the tools or time to attempt a conversion. but thank you for the response
