  1. Unzip the file to get a .json profile and text file with the details. You then need the AS_Configurator for FSX to import and activate the profiles. The Configurator can be downloaded at the Aerosoft web site here; http://freeware.aerosoft.com/forum/downloads/AS_HONEYCOMB_FSX-FSXSE-V2.zip
  2. You may be able to bind the same switch using "on press" and "on release" actions if these are supported in P3D as they are in MSFS. In FSX I was able to program the handle and associated LED's through the Honeycomb configuration software. Final option would be FSUIPC.
  3. Further to this request. I have now found that the Starter assignment is working to initiate spool up but I am still unable to find a control binding for the two below; TOGGLE ENGINE SYSTEMS SET FUEL SHUTOFF VALVE Nothing that I assign seems to work for these switches. Would really appreciate some help with this, have also written to Asobo for help too. Glen
  4. I recently purchased the Asobo L-39 and am struggling with binding a couple of cockpit controls. I have the Thrustmaster Warthog joystick and throttle and want to avoid using the keyboard or mouse as much as possible. I've been able to bind most of the controls required for engine start and systems but there are three critical inputs that I can't associate with an input in MSFS. I am very familiar with FSUIPC as I use this with FSX but am hoping to avoid having to go that route with MSFS. The controls I'm struggling with are below; Fuel Shutoff Valve (tried all obvious fuel related options and shutoff valve too) Engine Systems toggle switch (tried several engine and system options) Engine Start button (engine start 1(hold) that works with the F-18 won't work with the L-39) I have tried numerous options from the controls list for each input but nothing seems to work, the input name that appears with mouse control hasn't been helpful so far. Hoping someone else out there can help or perhaps someone who is using FSUIPC can provide the name of the control for each of these inputs. Thanks !!
  5. For those FSX users who have purchased Honeycombs amazing Alpha Yoke and Bravo throttle but are struggling to get everything to work I have uploaded profiles for both on this site. Search under FSX Utilities for "FSX Profiles Alpha and Bravo" or by Author "Glen Hall" Hope some find this helpful. Glen
  6. As an added incentive to get the registered version of FSUIPC, it does allow for multiple aircraft profiles in the same way that MSFS2020 does. This gives FXS and other older Sims this same capability which is a real bonus with the Bravo throttles.
  7. Greetings, thought I would add based on my very recent experience. I've had the Honeycomb Yoke for several months and just received the Bravo Throttle a few days ago. While the hardware is great the software setup is very involved but I'm getting close to complete after about 10 hours !! There is also limited support for those of us still using older Sims like FSX, I will move to FS2020 eventually but that will require a computer upgrade. With regards to the question about the throttle not matching the Sim, this also affects the spoiler axis as well. Basically the issue seems to be that the throttle quadrant is using the X and Y axis for Spoiler and Throttle 1, this is an axis that is normally centered so the calibration procedure doesn't help, I've tried it several ways with no luck. I'm afraid the easiest solution is to download and install the registered version of FSUIPC for FSX, once installed it is a very easy to correct those two axis. It also makes programming buttons easier than using the Honeycomb software. You still need to use the Honeycomb software to program the 7 toggle switches, AP controls and LED's on the throttle. When I have finished my setup I will make my profile available to at least give other FSX users a starting point. Given that FSX does not support individual aircraft profiles like FS2020, my throttle setup is a bit of a compromise so that I can switch between GA and Commercial without have to re-assign the axis each time. I understand that FSUIPC does support aircraft profiles, I'll pursue that option one I have my basic setup working. Glen
