  1. The easiest way is to use their installer. FlyByWire Simulations.
  2. I looked all around my sound settings, and they are all on and turned up. My PMDG 737, FBW320, Headwind A330, etc. all work fine. I do have FSRealistic that I went through and double checked everything. So, I have all three variants of the 787, including the Kuro and Horizon Simulations editions. In all three of them, I just hear the GPWS real faintly, so I was wondering if there could be a volume control inside the cockpit.? Thanks
  3. Is there a way to turn up the volume of the GPWS? I can barely hear the altitude callouts on final. Thanks
  4. I'm wondering if they have both have to be Samsung. My 500Gb is a WD brand. My new one is the Samsung.
  5. Thanks, Dogdish! I think that is what I'm going to do is re-install MSFS. The add-ons I have, for instance PMDG, ORBX, etc., will they need to be reinstalled as well or is it as easy as moving the community folder to another temp folder, installing MSFS, and then adding the remaining add-ons back to the community folder? Thanks
  6. I have the Microsoft store version to answer. Sounds like it will be a long day or so downloading MSFS. The only other option I have I guess is to just clone my 500Gb drive to my 2 TB. That would still give me well over one TB of space for more MSFS add-ons.
  7. I'm still a little afraid of making the right steps. I currently have two WD 500 Gb M.2 NVMe SSDs. The C: has Windows 10 and MSFS on it. I would like to set mine up like yours where I have Windows only on the C:, and MSFS and my add-ons on my new Samsung 2 TB, i.e., D:. I'm wondering if I should go ahead and clone the C drive to the D drive, and then figure out how to get rid of the duplicate OS on D:. Or if maybe it would be easier to uninstall all of my MSFS software off of C: and just start a fresh D: with MSFS only. I hope that was clearer than mud. I'm not an advanced user. Thanks for the help.
  8. Thanks for the info. I've still got to plug it in and clone it. I'll report back.
  9. Hi, I've filled up my 500 GB SSD NVME. I have another identical SSD as well. FedEx is delivering me this SSD today: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/f3cRsY/samsung-980-pro-2-tb-m2-2280-nvme-solid-state-drive-mz-v8p2t0bam. My full SSD has Windows 10 as well MSFS on it. This is the one I'm replacing with 2 TB. My question is, where do I start? How do I transfer MSFS and add-ons to the new SSD? Should I transfer Windows 10 to my new 2 TB as well? Or should I use my other 500 Gb to store windows? I've looked in other forums with really no luck. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thank you
  10. I just reverted to 517.40 and within three minutes, I encountered a graphics problem. It seems as though this just started out of the blue for me about two weeks ago. I don't think it is anything in my community folder, however, the problem started somewhere around the time I installed Fly By Wire's new traffic injector. Is anyone else using FSLTL traffic injector and having problems?
  11. I have what is listed as the latest driver, 522.30 that came out 10/18. I think this is the update that started crashing my system. However, I have had a couple of successful flights now.
  12. I'm having the same issue, "Microsoft Flight Simulator has encountered a graphics problem. This could be due to the video card overheating, overclocking error, or faulty driver. MSFS will now close." I was afraid it was my system overheating, but it appears to be a driver issue. I wonder if NVIDIA knows of the error so that they can create a fix.
  13. I'm right there behind you maybe a couple of years. Those were the good old days, except for the technology, but we didn't know the difference, lol. I wonder what flight simulation will be like in another 20, 25 years? Hoping to make it at least that long. FS is all about all I have for a hobby now. Lost my medical over 20 years ago.
  14. Here is a pretty good tutorial. At first, I misunderstood that I didn't need to download the Base package if I was not flying online with VATSIM, etc. However, I downloaded the Base package, and it has all of the models and liveries, and my airports are populating within just a few moments of starting FSLTL Traffic. I'm using all of the default settings and it definitely outperforms AIG as well as being much easier to install and update.
  15. I have this Thrustmaster for Xbox. I think mine was pretty much plug and play. I reassigned a few buttons for the flaps and trim. Make sure the big button just below the joystick is turned on as well. I sometimes have to unplug my Thrustmaster and plug it back in for it to recognize it again. Did you get yours to work?
