  1. . . . and you didn't take any notice? If you search the web you will find lots of references to this problem and the need to update, here is just one a mere thirteen years ago:: https://www.simforums.com/forums/solved-fs2004-and-ut-usa-canada-ctd_topic36817.html The page linked to for the updates has vanished in that period but the Wayback Machine is on your side. Go here: https://web.archive.org/web/20130317113829/http://www.scenerysolutions.com/ut_downloads_FS9.html I have not checked every one of the files concerned, but one I plucked out of the air downloaded fine. If what you want isn't available, try a capture from another date. John
  2. And . . . another issue that has cropped up before has been faulty Terrain Mesh files. If you use add-on mesh, check with the supplier for updates as I believe the issue was fixed. Otherwise, you should test with it disabled. Also, remember that some add-on sceneries include files to install elsewhere to Addon Scenery - often in amongst your default files so you may need to investigate there too. It is unfortunate there are so many different possibilities for the cause of the problem, it can take a lot of patience and time. Best regards, and good luck, John
  3. That is a bit of a questionable tracking link and not all browsers seem prepared to respond to it. Or maybe it is Internet Security software that limits it. It is possible the link http://calclassic.com/Temp/Bretagne.zip will work better. That link isn't so much help, it is just textures for a livery and the page says: First of all you need the original model of the Sud Ouest 30P Bretagne by J.R. Lucariny. That's probably the door the tennis player arrived through! Best regards, John
  4. See https://web.archive.org/web/20110928112708/http://www.jrlucariny.com/Site2008/downloads/paginadownloadsdicas.html The model was not free - you were required to make a donation to purchase it. As the web site is long defunct, I doubt it is possible to legally purchase it now. John
  5. Its better to source the original rather than to get into (questionable) file-sharing through a public site. I think this is the file you are looking for?: John
  6. Not that difficult! In the library here: John
  7. The presence of a ground texture throughout the airport may indicate the lack of a flatten switch - check the install instructions which may show an entry to be placed in the scenery.cfg file for this. These days, flattens can be created in ADE etc of course. That should then, hopefully, expose the runways and taxiways. If it is a default FS airport, open that in ADE (or your preferred editor) and simply adjust to suit, saving it as your new AFD file. The transparency issue with the trees probably indicates the use of "Gerrish's Trees" which are not compatible with FS2004, but you may be happy to put up with them like that. John
  8. You can delete the *.xcl file. This is a temporary file created during the build of an "exclude", and serves no purpose in the final product. Over the years I have found quite a few sceneries where temporary files like that haven't been removed. Removing it will have no effect on the scenery, the actual "exclude" should be in a *.bgl as normal. It surely must have a minimum of one *.bgl file to display the scenery, but you say it has none? John
  9. It looks like you can get it here: https://web.archive.org/web/20050710030817/http://www.projectai.com/packages/fde.php John
  10. Hiya, Yes, I use FDC Live Cockpit om Windows 10 and have experienced no issues. If you do have any problems, OnCourse Software have a fantastically helpful support forum: http://www.ocs-support.co.uk/forums/index.php . . . although you might find it will be me that responds! Good luck with it. John
  11. Is this what you are after, Peter? https://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=editvoicepack+787&CatID=root&Go=Search Best regards, John
  12. Yes, really, Mark. I didn't claim it is my opinion, or yours, I was just repeating what he told me. His FSX-upward equivalent is magnificent by comparison, showing a 3D coloured landscape, AI traffic (including on the ground) and even taxiway names. It is such a shame it isn't FS2004 compatible - FS2004 and FSX are technically so similar that there can't be much preventing it being so. But those of us who choose to still live in the Dark Ages (and we all have our reasons) have to accept that less and less add-ons will be available as years progress for our strange pastime. Some add-ons have been killed stone-dead - at least this one still works for those who bought it all those years ago. Best regards, John
  13. If you are referring to the "popular nav programme" that I think you are (FS Navigaator), the developer has not disappeared at all - he has moved on to an FSX-upwards version (FS Tramp). He holds strong opinions that nobody should use FS2004 any more - those on this forum will obviously not agree but he is entitled to his opinion. And his legal rights. John
  14. That has been said so many times but is incorrect. The download is free but if you don't have a registration code, it will only work for twenty uses. New registrations are not available. It does claim to offer free registration to one in 30 users. John
  15. I think this will contain all the files you need, Peter: https://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=&Name=&FileName=as57base.zip&Author=&CatID=root Best regards, John
