  1. are there any known issues or drawbacks using a wireless mouse or keyboard with 2020? thanks
  2. Is it possible to create a waypoint in LNM flight plan after you've started your flight?
  3. Trying to DL and buy Johnson Creek. When I click on, they just go blank. Then I get a notification that I was unable to purchase. Any suggestions? Thanks
  4. I've said it a million times, "I'd rather be lucky than good". Yesterday, I hit the NewEgg Shuffle. Got my hands on a nVidea 3070 8gb. Now I can finish off the computer I started on 5 months ago.
  5. I managed to get my hands on a stand-alone trim wheel. I having some trouble in setting it up. When i go to OPTIONS> CONTROLS> FLIGHT SIM SURFACES> Trim up or Down, I don't know what to do. I can click on 12 boxes, but nothing happens. The trim wheel does show up on the same line as the Keyboard and the Joystick, so it does recognize it. Thanks
  6. Not to change the subject, but since here seems to be some smart people submitting replies, could I ask this. Can you now, or maybe in the works that you use your keyboard to make changes with the G1000 AP? Spinning those knobs can be a pain at times.
  7. For what it's worth, this is a suggestion. Load up a flight on the ground at KEUG 34L. No crosswind Set your heading bug for 340 deg. This gives you a quick reference close enough to a cardinal heading to achieve completing your turn. Crosswind 270 Downwind 180 Base 90 Final 340 KEUG has some close proximetry roads running N-S, E-W nearby for some visual reference. Don't forget on Downwind to have the runway about halfway on your strut if practicing on a C-172 This has helped me in the past.
  8. right before it goes to CTD, my fans ramp up considerably and I get a somewhat loud hum.
  9. I can load a simple flight plan off of the world map, with one or two waypoints and get the blue screen 9 out of ten times. Am I maybe setting up the flight plan incorrectly? But if I load a flight plan in the G1000 MFD, it seems to work. Any ideas? Thanks
