    I could be way off base but your description of the FSX behavior sounds very much like the default MSFS 2020 behavior. Is it possible you are using non default install locations and the configuration files are crossing wires? Stranger things have happened. Just a thought - Doug

    Great. I'm glad that worked for you. I can't claim credit for the solution but it worked for me.

    I had this exact problem. I would post the link to where I found the solution so the proper credit could be given, if I could remember where I found it. What the post suggested was to go to Options/Assists and select All Assists. Fly for a few minutes then reset your options to your preferred settings. Restart MSFS and everything 'should' be back to normal. Hope this works for you.

    From the Main Menu, click on the Assist panel and you will have an option to enable the taxi ribbon. Doug

    Thanks for the reply. I knew that I had seen something on the subject some time ago and that method looks familiar. All I have installed so far is all of my Orbx products and a couple of planes that have been updated so it won't be terribly difficult, just a bit lengthy. I had pretty much convinced myself to go the uninstall method and your response sealed it. Thanks. Doug

    After buying P3Dv5, I got in a hurry and let it install in a default location, in Program Files. I have already installed all of my Orbx products. Short of uninstalling everything, is there any way to change the location of P3D? Doug

    I've tried to get close to one with Active Sky. I guess it's kind of like the real thing, you only see them by accident. Loved your screen shots. I'm sutill learning to read but I love to look at the pictures.
