Hi All I have had issues with the FS crashing when i am touching down on a runway, My FS has never worked correctly since the update I have done loads of updates today, Updated Windows 10, Uninstalled Radeon 5700 and in installed with the newest drivers , Increased virtal memory to max for 16GB , I have followed most of the steps in this youtube Video If flying the 787 out of heathrow or Glasgow plus other airports , When i am coming back until land everything seems OK until my wheels touch the ground and i get a blank screen with a message saying that they will inform Windows of the issue for a fix. This is happening with other aircraft but i have been able to land on landing challenges. I have come to the stage , Do i do a full uninstall of the FS or wait hoping for a fix. On another note , Will it be better to install on a wd passport 2tb ultra external drive rather than my hard drive? Thank you for any help Malc

Hi, I have just had a MSFS update on start up and after installing , I then selected a flight and the game crashed , Since then, If i right click on the MSFS icon and go to run as Admin to run the Flight Sim, the MS Store opens up and its asking me to install Game services but on the top right , It says The Product is installed. I have no idea on what to do, If it will correct itself or not, I have rebooted the PC, But no way of starting the sim. I have had the FS since launch and first time having this issue. I am looking at a 3 screen set up using iiyama prolite e2409hds, I have 2 e2409hds and looking for a 3rd second hand. They are Full HD 1080p, 1920 x 1080 Getting a decent PSU isn't going to be expensive Corair have a 750 for £90. I will avoid the CPU unless i need to, But i can use any parts that i am replacing on building up the dell XPS to keep or to sell on.

I am looking at working backwards, Will buy a New graphics card, Looking like a Radeon 5700 and i will see what happens with my CPU. I think now its going to be better to wait until after the new year, Graphic cards are now hard to find and expensive. Its how much can i throw at my Sim

I have a Old dell XPS that i could upgrade. Regards the Radeon 570, Its playable, its only now and again that i get issues. Its how much money that your going to spend. So far i have spent £400 in total and thats a lot of money just to play 1 game. Daspinall, Do you have a link to that Documentery

I thought my CPU would have been good enough, It might have been cheaper buying a new PC. Regards Graphics cards, There is a shortage now, so waiting for new stock. Just wonder if they are forcing people into buying the latest cards

Noted its the XFX RX 5600 XT Thicc III ULTRA which i believe is more powerful, I have no room for the Thicc , It would be sitting over other cables . Are you using high settings ?

Thanks Steve, to be honest, i made to many cut backs when i upgraded my PC and i should have bought a higher watt PSU, , It was the Corsair 650 w PSU which was fine for the RX570 but limits me from upgrading to the RX5700 since there are only a few that require a 600W PSU

Hi All. I was on a low budget when setting up my PC for the FS2020 and i ended up buying the XFX AMD Radeon RX 570 (8GB) Graphics Card and to be honest, My first flights flying over lanzarote and its volcanos was giving me 30 FPS and since then my FPS is now averaging 15, I have the FPS set at 30 in the settings and followed a few tips on youtube. I am now thinking of upgrading the graphics card to the AMD Radeon RX 5700, But thought i would ask the question on here for advice. Since i only use my PC for the Flight sim, What graphics card do you recommend. first thought is, Buy a RX 5700, 2nd thought, Buy the lower spec model RX5500 to save some money, But what will the visual Experience be like when playing the game or hold out and buy the RX6800 card when it is more available. Maybe others are in the same situation, Will it be worthwhile paying X number of pounds if the difference in visual Experience will be very little. Would love to hear your thoughts. Spending a lot of time looking for a new Joystick to replace the Old MS Sidewinder P Pro. It looks like we are limited on what we can buy with lots of stores out of stock and if you look on auction sites, the price of joysticks are a lot higher than the shops , Maybe the lack of stock is down to shipping over to the UK due to Covid. Watching lots of reviews on Youtube of the THRUSTMASTER T-16000M FCS Joystick and the THRUSTMASTER T.Flight Hotas 4 Joystick & Throttle , The THRUSTMASTER T-16000M FCS Joystick sounds a lot better, But listening to reviews, everyone picks up on faults, Like the Throttle on the Hotas 4. then there is a Thrustmaster T.Flight Stick X (PC but its another 3 weeks before they arrive in the UK, If it does arrive and thats via Amazon. Any you simmers in the same situation and any thoughts

So your saying that the window closes and the program is still running, It just crashes and not running
