  1. No opinion on new look. Im old... Ill work thru it as Admins work thru it! But.... ...is there anything i can do about attachments not showing in "how to" forum threads? " Pictures are worth a thousand words!"
  2. Hello, I have been away from FS for a good while. I have been back at the computer building several panels and gauges. (Mostly 2d since I cant do much to alter most VC panels!) My name is Scott Thomas. All of my work can be found here on Flightsim.com. All the panel and gauge work I have done with Milton Shupe is here, as well. My interest is mostly vintage (1940s thru 50s) design GA and mostly hand flyers. It as always been freeware as I have just enjoyed the work. Everything currently is FSX but because of my level of xml ability, most will probably work in 2004 Since being away I have lost track of all the people who did the panel testing for us in the past. I would like to find someone knowlegable and competent who would interested in flying the panels to be sure they work elsewhere on other computers, and to find what I have overlooked, before I upload them. As always Im kind of a code hack so I can always use help solving coding issues! Thanks, Scott Current project... Vintage Navion Panel;

    Hello. Are many folks still flying FSX? I have a bunch of freeware, mostly GA, aircraft panels and gauges I have been building and wondered if they may be worth uploading. Mostly 2d since I cant do much to change VC panels (although if developers are reading this...I am willing to!!) One such... Early Bobcat Panel with era correct gauges. Thanks, Scott
  5. Hi, I am reworking a panel for the ALPHA Cessna T-50 Bobcat. I have all the gauges finished and working, except the ECU. The mixture levers are reversed on the Bobcat ECU. I have them moving correctly but clicking is still backwards (lean is rich and rich is lean) The mixture click section... (M:Y) (*Get Y*) 26 (*38-12*) - (*skip top runof*) 99(*137-38*) / 0 max 1 min 1 - /-/ 16384.0 * (>K:MIXTURE1_SET) I dont understand the click section of the FSX ECUs. Could someone help me understand this code. I cant see where the numbers, (38 and 12) and (137 and 38) come from. (I understand these (*...*) sections are notes explaining how the values "26" and "99" are arrived at). Also, I cant seem to find anything on (M:Y) any help greatly appreciated! Thanks, Scott Pic of the main panel...
  6. I know where yoiu are coming from. The Covid thing got me back in front of the computer. Went and bought one that would run FSX! Been furiously building new gauges and panels for the few freeware GA aircraft still out there as well as updating all of my 2d panels and gauges I have built for Milton's aircraft, to fit the 1600 x 900 displays. Spend A lot of time trying to remmebr xml programming as well!!
  7. arrrrggghhhhh That didnt work. same thing Thanks, tho!
  8. Hey all, This is Scott Thomas. Milton Shupes old panel hack. I have started messing with FS again. I was reworking a Commander panel (xml gauges.) All was going well til now, when suddenly FSPS is giving me an error; "Cant create temporary xml directory. The system cannot find the path specified." It repeats this as each gauge tries to load until eveything is not loaded!! WHAT HAVE I DONE?!!!?!! Thanks, Scott
