    I think the continual learning curve of FSX (and Flight Sim in general) keeps it interesting. A lot of the replies focus on various challenges which really keeps it top of my list as the best way to "waste" some time. On top of that their is a whole world to explore in FS and some of it modelled to a high level of detail.
