  1. I’ll give that a try - thank you.
  2. They work perfectly fine for me. As our resident guru states in the post above, just make sure you get the paths rights as FSX-SE is located a couple of layers deeper than FSX boxed.
  3. I’m very happy with the freeware Little Navmap but I think a lot use Sim Brief
  4. I’ve used the Logitech (Saitek) X52 Pro for a number of years now without any issue. It’s very configurable and the MFD is very useful for dialing in Com1 and Nav1 frequencies.
  5. Not that you’ve said you’ve FSX-SE but if you do then please make sure Steam is running first.
  6. +1 2D because of poor eyesight and the need for blatantly obvious gauges [emoji85]
  7. As above. My laptop is low spec. Orbx is a killer for the most part and had to uncheck any I ran. REX HD Airports caused jaggies even with Standard settings. I think the constant Steam service takes up some minor CPU time. I read somewhere how to run FSX SE without Steam but lost the link. Deffo 25 frame rate. Make sure things like lens flare and shadows are off. Set clouds to lowest. Same with autogen. I also set cars, boats etc to zero. Scenery is a killer but I fly jets and not necessarily a problem at FL 320. Good luck.
  8. I run FSX-SE on my laptop with specs less than yours. Mid range to low settings and very few addons. It's a compromise on quality and performance for sure but not unplayable.
