  1. The systems are independent but you have to configure the X56 in each simulator. I assume you just have the x56 plugged in all the time to the same USB port.
  2. I cannot tell you HOW to do it but I have seen several systems with that exact type of setup. Perhaps one of them will chime in. You also might try google using "sim cockpit builder" as your starting point. So the good news is that what you want can and has been done! :) also check our forum here: https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/forumdisplay.php?12-Cockpit-Builders Vic
  3. Those should work together just fine.
  4. Usually there is a brightness control somewhere on the panel. Depends on the aircraft and the instruments. There are some that do not have that function and the lights are either on or off at one brightness level
  5. Using the wrong type of defragger will destroy an SSD. Using Trim and Optimize will do what you want and not harm the drive. There are some "defraggers" for SSD's but they basically use the Trim command. Please, when telling someone to defrag an SSD - explain exactly what program and what you mean to avoid some inexperienced user trashing his SSD. Frankly, IMHO, if it says anything like defrag - don't use it period. Vic
  6. I agree. Only issue I have is the F1 GTN750 doesn't display in the VC. It will pop up with a shift 3. Tech support is looking into it. I've had a couple of fun first flights. Can't knock the 489kt cruise speed. Vic
  7. Looks very good. Think I'll add this one. Not familiar with Aeroplane Heaven but if the quality of their web page is any indication, it's probably a safe buy. Vic
  8. Did you try the usual? Delete/rename the P3D.cfg files, dll.xml and exe.xml file. See if it starts then.
  9. ASN is not compatible with P3D 4 & 5. You need ASP3D for that, Vic
  10. In the same section where you create new profiles there is an entry to remove. Not at my flight system but I believe it's called Profile Manager. Vic
  11. Or just go to the community folder, right click - create shortcut and then drag and drop shortcut on desktop.
  12. They NEVER have supported earlier versions with additional development. Only because of many loud complaints did they even include the ability to download earlier versions. Initially, when they released a new major version, the other one disappeared. Now, 4.5 is dead to further developments but 5.x and 6.0 are still viable. Vic
  13. I'm guessing a corrupt install. It's usually related to Microsoft Office. Try a repair install of P3D and then run as admin. Vic
