  1. UPDATE: Bought the leo bodnar board and low and behold, problem completely gone, mustve been something to do with the old board of the yoke. Thanks a lot for the suggestion Dolph
  2. the only thing, is there any sort of guarantee this will work?
  3. checked the settings, everything is only binded once, what i have found is that the potentiometer only jumps when turning the yoke to the right; it sits perfectly still when turned to the left. Maybe this could just be an issue with the main board inside the yoke i dont know
  4. i doubt it is as i just freshly reinstalled msfs and set up my binds from the beginning and made sure only the yoke was controlling it. No clue what could be causing it but its making me go mad.
  5. Update: I left the yoke sitting without use for ages as i couldn't find a fitting pot to replace the "faulty" one with. I say "faulty" as i have now replaced the potentiometer that was jittering to a brand new one wired everything up and the axis still jitters just as bad as it did before. Any ideas what could be causing it?
  6. The yoke didn't seem too used to be fair it was covered in dust so hopefully just a quick take apart and clean will fix it. Even if the pots are faulty and I have to buy replacements it will come out cheaper than buying the yoke at regular price.
  7. ok thanks, if taking them apart and cleaning that way doesnt work ill have to look into buying replacements, still a steal on the yoke buying it for 30 quid
  8. Pretty sure they're rotary potentiometers, and no i just sprayed contact cleaner into a hole on the side of the pot which i could only guess led inside of the pot, I will look to see if i can open them up to clean.
  9. I think I could figure it out, but what pots should i use, should i look for the same ones which are already in the yoke or buy another model.
  10. I haven't touched the axis, the only thing i have done is sprayed the potentiometers inside with contact cleaner because i read on another forum that spraying them down helped others. I think it might just be a faulty pot.
  11. This is what i mean by the jitter the setting change didnt help unfortunately
  12. No i havent, i will try and let you know but i dont think its a game setting issue as it also jitters in the calibration screen in the control panel. I will swap to easy and see if it works
  13. Hello, I have recently bought a used saitek cessna pro yoke, and ive been struggling to find a solution to a problem. Whenever I turn the yoke to the right, i get an uncontrollable amount of jitter and bouncing in the axis. When i turn the yoke left the axis is somewhat stable to a point where it doesnt affect flight. I have opened up the yoke and made sure all connections to the potentiometers are secure and i have cleaned the potentiometers with contact cleaner. Any ideas what could be causing this, as surely if the potentiometer was broken it would jitter both ways?
