  1. So I added Service Pack 1 and all is good. Thanks for the replies. Sgtoro
  2. I have been using X-Plane 12 but they do not have a good C-130 so I am trying to install my old FSX Deluxe Edition and then reinstall my Captain Sim C-130 pack. I'm running windows 10 and when I try to install FSX, I get an error code 1607 saying unable to install InstallShield Runtime. Any suggestions. I did try to use the compatibility fix but that didn't help. Thanks Sgtoro
  3. Thanks for the info! Now how to figure out as way to delete it. If I could find all the MFS2020 files, I'd delete them also and stick with X-Plane!
  4. So I downloaded the "free" Dc-10 Flying Hospital and it shows up in my hanger and i can select it before I fly but after selecting my origin and destination airports, The "fly now" button will not turn bright and it will not allow me to start the flight. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Rich
  5. So I have been away from FSX for couple of years messing around with X-Plane. I loaded my FSX on to a new computer with Windows 10 and noticed a few things are not right. Several of my add on planes will not load completely. My three Captain Sim planes (C-130, 757 and 767) are not loading everything like the instruments, a lot of the cockpit switches and even the landing gear are not visible on one of them. I also get the following error when FSX first loads: Product Activation Error We're sorry, an unexpected error occurred which is preventing product activation from completed Error code 1-80004005 I have registered this version several times. Is all this due to Windows 10 and if so, is there a fix or should I give up and go back to X-Plane or try the new Microsoft Flight Simulator? I have literally hundreds of add on planes, scenery and other stuff that I would like to keep with FSX. Thanks for any help or advice Rich
