  1. I bought a new dell when they was on sell for 1200, it came with a 3060ti. I love it, VR is amazing, I have all settings on high and have a very smooth frame rate. I have not experimented with ultra yet, so don't know how that would fan out.
  2. No I may have used the cable 2-3 times, once I went wireless there was no going back :) I have never had any performance problems with wireless.
  3. Occasionally when I restart a flight, or go back to the menu and create a new flight my Oculus Quest 2 looks like its night time. The VR on the flat screen is properly showing bright sunshine, but when I put the headset on, its dark like night. I reset virtual desktop I restarted Steam VR I restarted headset I restarted Flight Sim 2020 The only thing that fixes it when it gets like this is to reboot the PC Anyone else experience this or have a clue to what could be going on?
  4. FYI, I've been stalking websites for almost a month now looking for one, and today I found it in stock and on sale at GS.
  5. I finally figured out what I was doing wrong to get VR to work and OMG! This is amazing, cudos to the development team. With my new system and the latest drivers, in VR everything is on high but the detail is dialed back to 150 on terrain and buildings, absolutely smooth and beautiful. More than once I leaned in my chair when I rolled. FYI my system is just a dell I7-10700 (not K) with RTX 3060ti, and only 16gb, I plan on adding another 16gb just for giggles.
  6. i figured it out, I had to click the steam vr button on the left of the virtual desktop.
  7. I installed the oculus software, purchased virtual desktop and installed it on the headset and the client on the new pc. The virtual desktop does work. I installed steam and msfs2020. On the headset when I start the virtual desktop and go to games and start FS. Its on the curved display in the headset, when I switch to VR its not full screen, its split screen image on the curved screen. The head tracking does work. What am I doing wrong?
  8. I ordered a new dell on presidents day, I had no idea GPU's are hard to find. Its a I-7 10700 with a RTX 3060ti, 512gb M2 and 1tb spinner. I'm glad it was a spur of the moment decision, because I see the cards going for roughly what I payed for the whole system on ebay. after googling FS2020 with 3060ti I was amazed at this sim, its been maybe 4 years since I've played, the videos look breathtaking. I last played x-plane, don't know what version. I had a MS force feedback (very old I know) My question/request is what would you recommend to order for flight control while I wait for my system to arrive. Its been stuck in El Paso for 10 days now. Thanks in advance for your input.
