  1. I have tried Simbrief, but flightplan has to be loaded into sim, and takes a bit more time to use when I want a quick flight. Just wander if anybody else has experienced this problem with Airbus FBW, and what could course this.
  2. When I plan a flight I use MSFS flp routing (in world-map). Starting up Airbus cold and dark pilot ask for IFR clearence (I use partly flight assistance). After switching on battery power, I get IFR clearence from ATC. Then I switch on systems incl A-dirs, and have to wait around 12 minutes until GPS stabilizes and FLP route shows up in NAV-display (upper ECAM-display says IR in align 7 mn?). When FLP route shows up in NAV-display it show a FLP plan route that is direct from Airport A to first approach FIX at Airport B - no other Airways and Waypoints that should be there shows up. So this FLP route gives me a direct route from Airport A to B - not exactly what my ATC would like. A bug - or is it something I do wrong? I use an updated version of Airbus FBW develope model, and this happened also on previous version before MSFS update 7.
  3. I still cannot find this knob CRS/CFM? But yesterday a similar incident happened on approach from 11000feet to 7000feet on advise from ATC. And I was in selected mode altitude on descent. I had to turn off Auto pilot and auto throttle and had to handfly all the way to touch down - this time the Airbus was not able to regain normal operation so I could use Autopilot and ILS in automode like incidents similar occasions earlier. This behavior seem very strange, and I really dont understand what causes it - sometimes normal operation, and sometimes this odd behavior?
  4. In the flight mentioned I had turned off Auto throttle and used selected mode to slow down from 250 knots to 210 knots when incident happend. But yes - I am sure of using CL-mode throttle after take-off phase. Your tip about selected-mode altitude seem to fix issue. I just had a flight now with no incidents, But the minimums knob I am not able to locate - are you talking about the FBW-Airbus?
  5. Hi! I have a problem now with the Airbus 320 (not FBW Airbus). When ATC clears me to a lower altitude the Airbus sinks through this altitude. This happens when closing to approach part. ATC clears me from 11000 feet to 7000 feet, and the Airbus go on sinking under this altitude. I am in manged mode, auto throttle, and on auto pilot. To save the situation I must give full throttle, but the slow reaction before the airbus starts climbing again give a close call to ground. Speed is slowed to 210 knots on ATC clearing, but I have to speed up to be able to climb. Once I manually (hand flying with autothrottle de-engaged) are in right altitude I can go back to managed mode and with autopilot and auto throttle engaged, and the Airbus are flying the ILS approach without any other incidents. This strange behavior happens at any given aiport I arrive - at least those 4-5 times lately it has happened after last sim-update. Others have experienced the same behavior - or knows what could course this?
  6. Meteo Blue seem to be very good presenting area weather, so this I will use in those occasions when I have decided which area to fly into. But I still miss a place where they both show airposts with metars as well as wind and weather above in different levels - maybe I am too demanding!
  7. I have earlier tried Windy, but to me it seem that Windy show weatherforecast rather than current weather. It could be I am wrong, but this was the case in some occasions when I "tested" their weather against real weather in my home area. But Windy I guess is good with visualisation all around the globe.
  8. Hi! I have tried to find a good site where I can see actual weather situation on ground (airports) and and up in different levels, but those I find is not so good visualy. I like my flights in wind and weather situations - and with such weather overview its easier to pick up where to make interesting flights. I know there are overview over airports by metars - but thats not enough. So tip will be aprreciated..
  9. When I had a flight in Sibirian area with temperature between -30C and -40C I turned on deicing systems. But with heavy fog at depature airport I experienced that my Airbus hardly would climb more than 1-200fpm as long as I was in this foggy conditions. As soon as I got out of fog and cøouds the climb rate increased rapidly. I wonder if possible de-icing of the Airbus fuselage on ground (no option so far) would have solved this dangerous and challenging situation - or is it som setting I have missed?
