  1. I will have to shrink them, all my screen caps are too big to post.
  2. The journey so far with the Waco. All real weather, no AP, no AI, no cheating fuel. Started in Melbourne at the start of Feb, landed in New Delhi yesterday. Onward to the next race location, Africa. The yellow routes are the point to point racing league legs, the black are just the adventuring between the races.
  3. We need more folks to join up and race with us in cross country point to point style races. So far there are only 6 pilots signed up and we're having a blast touring eastern and northern Australia but the more competition the better! There's still six weeks left in this first session of races so its not too late. Next session starts March 1st and features 15 mandatory checkpoints in eastern Asia including the fantastic scenery of Japan. TK
  4. Still dealing with a cyclone mid course so I am waiting it out for a few more days. I know of one other racer who said screw it and is going to attempt it through the storm... in his cessna LOL. In the meantime I have been playing with the landing challenges and checking out the next series of courses. TK
  5. Racing League starts today! The first session of races are posted on the racing league page, pilots you have two months to complete 7 races of different distances and challenges going from Melbourne to Darwin. You have 4 classes of aircraft to select from and can retry your segments as many times as you want to get the best score you can. It's not too late to sign up so join us and try something else beside bus driving from Topeka to Shreveport and back! If you don't have access to facebook let me know, I can get you the course layout. If I get enough interest I will start a webpage and domain for the league. https://www.facebook.com/groups/462522588477636
  6. Final testing is happening now for the course of our first segment. Go to Facebook and search flight simulator racing league and join up. The more participants the more fun. No Facebook? Not a problem just keep an eye here for updates and news. If enough folks join I'll buy a domain and build a webpage for the league.
  7. If enough folks are interested I'm going to restart flight simulator racing leagues like we used to do with FS2K and FS98. Back then we ran it under the name FSPRA flight sim pilots racing association. Not sure where Jeff is hiding these days so rather than take his group name I've started a new group called Flight Simulator Racing League just on Facebook so far. If enough of you all join up I'll buy a domain and roll out an official webpage in a few weeks. This is point to point time challenges, start on the runway, start the stop watch, find your way to the destination airport land and once fully stopped stop your timer and that's your race time. For now it's just default aircraft in classes based on similar capabilities. Every two months I'll post the next set of races, a sprint, a regional three leg race, another sprint, a cross country with up to five mandatory stops then another sprint, regional and sprint final. Results will be posted by class and points assigned based off finish place. End of year the winner of each class gets a virtual high five and bragging rights. First races will be posted next weekend so go sign up. I will try to share the link below, if that doesn't work just to fb and search for flight simulator racing league and sign up. https://m.facebook.com/sharer.php?sid=462522588477636&referrer=group&ref=content_filter
