  1. Yes, they all appear to be there and ok. In FSX, I can select any mission, but when it tries to go to the briefing room, the program makes an attempt (I can see HD activity) and then it just exits out of FSX.
  2. I need to upgrade my video card. I am no expert so I call upon the power of this collective for help please. Will this card be sufficient? I also have i7 w/16G of RAM BTW: https://www.dell.com/en-us/work/shop/msi-gtx-1050-ti-4gt-lp-graphics-card-nvidia-4-gb-gddr5-pcie-30-x16-low-profile-dvi-hdmi-displayport/apd/aa362024/graphic-video-cards?gacd=9646510-1025-5761040-266794296-0&dgc=st&ds_rl=1282786&gclsrc=ds thank you... I need a low profile card for my ssf case
  3. I was all excited and was finally loading MSFS onto my machine. Got about half way thru the install and it said my video didn't meet the requirements or something like that! BUMMER!!! I am running an i7-2600@3.4Ghz with an AMD Radeon HD7000 series card with 1GB RAM. Maybe if I bump up my RAM it will run? Do I need to upgrade my video card? How much is a "decent" low cost one for an old man on a budget? Paul
  4. Is it possible to keep both programs? FSX being installed in it's default "Program Files(x86)" and Steam under "C:\FSX Steam"? Just wondering... thanks...Paul aka "Grampy"
  5. I'm new to FSX. When I try to load any mission, as soon as I click "go to briefing" they mouse icon "whirls" like it's loading and then all of a sudden FSX closes. Free Flight works fine..any aircraft, any where. I have FSX SP2 installed too BTW. I'm running Win 10 (64bit) on an i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz, with AMD Radeon HD 7000 video. HD is 1TB Any ideas on how to fix this? :(
