  1. Hi Guys, Ive been flying the sim since it came out, Im running it on a laptop medium range for the sim, after several of the first updates I manage to make it work just fine but now I have an issue with the clouds. after the update that came before the USA one the clouds look like a strobe light, flashing in and out very fast, I tried everything in the settings and nothing, I dont know if somebody else has the issue, If so please enlighten me to fix it, since then Ive been flying in clear weather which takes away half of the fun. Cheers Oscar
  2. Well my friend your wife is a smart girl. She rather not see you while you're at home Flight Simming that not see you while you hit the bars with friends and God knows what else. Blue Skies Amigo

  4. Hi guys, Does anybody know if the FS2020 will come with Virtual Cockpits? I fly FSX with trackIR 5 and can't imagine flying it any other way!! Oscar
  5. Hmmm Jeroen, You've got a good point there about offending aircraft manufacturers!! maybe thats the reason they eliminated the reality factor
  6. Happy New Year to all!! I imagine most pilots here are excited with this year's release of FS2020. It's about time that a new sim came out with new technology built into it, I for myself am looking forward to VFR flying, I'm a former Commercial Pilot (ATP) but back in my flying days I enjoyed VFR flying the most. I've been using FS since FS for Windows 95 (I think). The only complain I have with the later versions is that they took away the "Reliability Factor" let me explain, when your flying a plane not only your navigating and flying but also checking constantly that every system is working ok. back in Win 95 in the emergencies tab you had a Reliability Setting, of course you could program any kind of emergency or malfunction but that took the surprise away but instead you could give the plane in percentage how reliable it would perform, I always had it in 99% for most flights, I know it's high but it made me be aware of all my systems and every now and then I would get a malfunction being just a little problem or a big emergency. In FSX you have the random emergencies setup but you input the time when it should happen taking the surprise away. I believe they should bring back the Reliability Factor thus bringing back the surprise. What do you guys think? Oscar
  7. Hello everyone, I imagine that there is a lot of excitement regarding FS2020 release, It is about time that a new Sim came out and one that would revolutionize the community. Now there are tons of questions regarding the package itself, system specs, third party involvement, and of course the date it will be released, I think I have a good idea when this will be, just follow the clues. To start the sims graphics are coming from Bing maps, I was checking out these maps and they are pretty amazing and cover most of the planet, another issue is that the sim is coming with only one season and I can guess it would be spring or summer since bing maps photo sats are in these 2 seasons. why only one season? well logic says that since scenery is from these maps it would be really hard to impose a fall or winter mesh thus ruining the maps itself. It makes sense that the release should be in spring or summer (northern hemisphere), it would be awkward to release it late in the year during the no season bing maps. Now the sim that they are going to release its just the core package where they cover the 3 basics, Scenery, Aerodynamics and Weather. I am sure that MS would be releasing other seasons once they get it on Bing maps and winter weather effects for there weather engine for a price of course witch is fine by me. I am imagine that third parties would jump right in creating seasons and new weather FXs. If the Sim comes out in summer and it has a good acceptance then I'm sure the Fall and Winter seasons will come out shortly. Best Wishes Oscar
