  1. Thanks for reminding me about the fact that Asobo is who I should be thanking for the Hotfix that fixed my problem. I keep forgetting about that. It must be their weird name. I will remember them after today. btw I just finished a 200 mile trip around Oklahoma without any problems. so far so good.
  2. Four days of living in FLIGHT SIMULATOR HELL. I have done all of the things that I can think of in trying to solve this problem with MSFS. Within five minutes from take off the sim would freeze for a moment and then disappear. I rightfully thought to myself “here we go again”. I kept one eye on FlightSim.com while I started to see if I could fix it myself. People were starting to post problems and several suggestions followed. I checked out a couple of things and tried to comprehend what others were saying. After a day with no success it was very late and I decided to do a complete reinstall. That will take six hours so I started the operation and I went to sleep. After the reinstall, the problem was still there. I called the Microsoft support line. I explained the problem to the Tec. and he connected to my computer. He wanted to go on a test flight to see the problem first hand. After the flight he moved around inside the program to several places did and a couple of things. He then said that he might have problem corrected but first he wanted me to take him for another test flight. The problem was still there. He then said that there was nothing else he could for me. He gave me a case number and refereed me to this Zendisk thing and that proved to be more of the same. My ear was getting sore. Back at FlightSim.com more reports were coming in. With my skill level being what it is, I figured if tried some of the suggestions offered I would go deeper into trouble. That’s it, I’m done. I’m tired of MSFS. I want to go back to FS X. I never encountered stuff like this with FS X. Walmart has a new FS X for $129. (I wonder how that happens) I was about to “add to cart” when a little voice inside told me to slow down. Microsoft would not dare let something like this slide. Wait a day or two and see what happens. That was yesterday. This morning I was looking at FlightSim.com and decided to try yet another suggestion that pointed to the options. I fired up the FS but it told me to install a required update before I could fly. I did what it said, then fired up FS. I started with my Beloved Baron, then the Bonanza and then the DA62 and enjoyed 1.5 hours of error free flights. I hope that I have not spoke to soon. VFRguy
  3. After several crashes I uninstalled MSFS and reinstalled it. The problem did not go away. I figure that the problem must have something to do with some of the stuff that is left behind during the uninstall. Also the update offered a new G1000 and it wiped out a bunch of panel stuff from different planes and I don’t think that the reinstall restored that stuff
  4. And I get this message after reboot. C:ProgramFiles\WindowsAppsMicrosoft.549981C3F5F10_3.2106.14307.0_x64__8wekyb3d8... C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.549981C3F5F10_3.2106.14307.0_x64__...\Win32Bridge.Server.exe The parameter is incorrect. I reply OK and it pops up again for a second time I reply OK and it goes away.
  5. I finished installing the update an hour ago and now I have the same problem.
  6. Sounds good. I will give it a shot later today. Thanks.
  7. Now that I have added one item to my community folder should I start to worry about updates? It seems that every time that a new update comes along the list of people with problems starts to grow. The community folder is at the center of a few of those problems. MSFS has plenty of things fore me to figure out before I start to mess with the community folder. Now I can’t avoid the folder any longer. I felt the “add on” itch coming. I am not sure I understand what the fuss is all about but I know that some day I will have to do something about it. I just don’t know what that something is. VFRguy
  8. I just spent the last 2 hours flying around Texas in my “NEW” DA62. I visited many airports and made lots of landings. The flights were all smooth and very comfortable to fly. All the landings were very smooth and error free. That DA62X Improvement Mod, without a doubt, put the word fun back in my flying vocabulary. All 3 of my planes are now ready to go. I am a happy camper. Thanks to all who made that happen. VFRguy
  9. You got it Mr. Green Man. As always I welcome your valuable help. Also thanks to every one else who helped me on this and all of the other problems I had. For now. I’m calling the DA62 problem solved. The DA62X Improvement Mod did the trick. I made 15 touch and go’s with out a single complaint. The take off and level flights were as smooth as it gets. All the turns were the same. The approaches on Final were very smooth as well as the landings. I could not ask for a better airplane. I welcome my lovely DA62 home from Sick bay. VFRguy PS I still worry about the No green triangle thing.
  10. Thanks I still would like to know if one sensitivity setting is good for all planes. It seems a little odd that the sensitivity for a 747 would be good for a 172.
  11. While working on the problem with my DA 62 I found out that you don’t have to have Winzip to unzip a file. Windows has an unzipping program already and it is free. I did not know that. So I uninstalled the trial version of Winzip. The next time I have a need to unzip a file I will check it out.
  12. OK I have never added any thing to MSFS so I had to download a trial version of Winzip. I then downloaded the DA62X Improvement Mod. I located the community folder at C:\Users\glenr\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community The folder was empty. I assumed that was because I have never added anything to it. I did a drag and drop and placed DA62X into that folder. The instructions said something about looking for a green triangle in the game. I fired up the simulator and I never saw any triangle. I went for a test flight. The flight was uneventful and very smooth and the landing was likewise. I think that does not prove any thing yet. I worry about that green triangle. I knew the time would come when I would have to work with the community folder as well as figuring out how to do that Winzip thing. That time was today. I hope I did it right. I have been focused on that sensitivity thing and I never considered an alternate solution. I have been waiting for all this, I just didn’t think it would be at the expense of my lovely DA62. I would like to know what you think about all this and I thank you very much. VFRguy
