Over in their forums, Aerosoft have shown off some additional previews of their Berlin Brandenburg Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator. EDDB looks to be coming along nicely.
Orbx presents the first preview of their upcoming Stockholm Bromma Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator. MSFS 2020 pilots will soon be able to head to ESSB and see not only a detailed airport but also an updated Stockholm city with over 100 custom POI and other upgrades to bring the city to life.
IndiaFoxtEcho has released a quick update on their progress with the T-45 for MSFS 2020. They are currently reviewing feedback from the real-world pilots who have been testing it, and fine tuning the flight model. New sound effects from real-world recordings have also been added. If all goes well, it could be released in late February.
Now available at the FlightSim.Com Store from Rafael Santos is a collection of utilities for Microsoft Flight Simulator called Ingamepanels Pack 3in1 for MSFS. Included are IVAO VATSIM Map v1.2 to view IVAO and VATSIM traffic within the sim, METAR Viewer v1.3 and VFRMap Enhanced v1.3 which lets you use OpenStreetMap right in your cockpit.
New scenery developer FlyingD Scenery announces that they have started development on Frankfurt-Egelsbach Airport (EDFE) - the airport of the rich and famous - for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Development is mostly complete and is currently undergoing testing, with release expected in a few weeks.
Visit the Caribbean nation of Granada via the new Lauriston Airport (TGPZ) scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator from Taburet. Also know as Carriacou Island Airport, it is a great starting point to visit the Caribbean or to head south to Venezuela and South America. The scenery features custom objects, adjusted runway threshold, night lighting and more.
FlightSim.Com video team member thecorporatepilotdad returns with another tutorial video. This time he shows how to do an RNAV GPS approach to LPV minimums. Though the basic techniques apply to any sim and aircraft, it is demonstrated at the very busy Teterboro Airport in New Jersey (KTEB), flying in MSFS 2020 with the Beechcraft Bonanza. Watch and learn how to do instrument landing approaches with ease.
Hot on the heels of their releases for Lydd (EGMD) and Headcorn (EGLF) for Microsoft Flight Simulator, Burning Blue Design is now focusing all their efforts on Farnborough Airport (EGLF). Release will be some time in the coming months, though the screen shots already show a well developed airport.
Coming soon from Rolling Cumulus Software for MSFS 2020 is Episode 2 of Space Intruders - The Lakes. In this episode, bush pilots will fly to eight crater lakes all over the planet. The Asteroid Study Group has constructed stations on these lakes and even made small airfields where astronomers spend weeks studying the surrounding areas of the lakes.
In the weekly update, the Microsoft Flight Simulator team provides some news on the World Update 3: United Kingdom And Ireland. This massive update contains new aerials, new DEM, over 70 POIs, 5 airports, two landing challenges, and will also introduce 5 brand-new photogrammetry cities. Also new this week is Feature Discovery Series video #10 on aerodynamics, and and update on the SDK.
TDM Scenery Design presents their latest creation, Airport A Coruña for MSFS 2020. The scenery has a detailed and realistic representation of the passenger terminal, all its buildings and hangars, the marks, numbers and parking spaces are placed by hand according to real life.
PrealSoft brings to life the city of lights with the release of Paris Landmarks For MSFS. Now Microsoft Flight Simulator users can see the capital of France with all its famous buildings and landmarks. You'll see such POIs as the Stade de France, the Pantheon, Parc des Princes, Notre Dame and much more, including 19 famous bridges.
New from Orbx for MSFS 2020 is ENTO Sandefjord. Torp Airport is a major Norwegian airport, located on the west side of the Oslofjord. The scenery features a detailed depiction of the airport, including interior modelling and passengers. A Prepar3D version will also be coming soon.
Aircraft developer Whiskey Jet Simulations is working on the Airbus A220 jetliner for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Their most recent set of screen shots show the work in progress aircraft flying in MSFS 2020 at night. Some details are still missing but the pictures show their progress.
