    REX Weather Force Technical Update 1.7 Released

    REX brings their advanced weather technology to MSFS 2020 with REX Weather Force 2020. This is a new METAR-based dynamic real-time weather engine that will let you experience automated, dynamic and smooth weather transitions. It also offers weather scenarios and other features. Technical Update 1.7 has just been released with compatibility to the latest MSFS 2020 1.20.6.0 and improved performance.

    MSFS 2020 - Announcing the Game of the Year Edition

    Coming in November is the Microsoft Flight Simulator Game of the Year Edition, the next upgrade to MSFS 2020. It will include five new aircraft and eight additional hand-crafted airports, plus new missions, tutorials, features, photogrammetry cities and content updates. Like all past upgrades this is free to existing owners.

    A Guide to Flight Simulator: Extended Edition v1.30 Released

    SoFly announces a new update to their A Guide to Flight Simulator: Extended Edition for MSFS 2020. The new v1.30 is expanded to 430 pages and includes coverage of the recent Sim Update 6 and a tutorial for the recently released Junker JU-52. Also new is an in-sim toolbar utility that lets users access the guide from directly within the simulator, with no need for an external reader.

    Review: MSX Creations - Katoomba Airport For MSFS 2020

    Flight Simualtor lets you visit remote places you might never get to in the real world. Katoomba Airport (YKAT) in New South Wales, Australia is one of these places, but the scenery from MSX Creations makes it an interesting and enjoyable place to visit in MSFS 2020. Reviewer Felicity Smith found it to be a great value if you enjoy small and challenging airports.

    FlightBeam Studios NZAA MSFS On Approach

    FlightBeam Studios has announced that their scenery for NZAA Auckland Airport is nearing completion, with the first small beta test starting this week. Designed as a native MSFS 2020 scenery, it will include a completely custom approach lighting system, custom taxiway lights, detailed PBR textures on every object and building plus 3D characters in various places.

    Aeroplane Heaven announces Service Upgrade 1.5 for their Spitfire MK1A for MSFS 2020. With the release of Microsoft Flight Simulator SU6 they see changes in the coding which could affect the Spitfire, in which case another Service Upgrade with be forthcoming.

    REX Game Studios Working On SU6 Updates

    REX Game Studios has contacted us about the effects of the just released Sim Update VI for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This SU6 update has caused both REX Weather Force and Global Airport Textures to have issued. REX is currenting testing fixes and should have updates available in the next 24 to 36 hours.

    The Microsoft Flight Simulator team announces the release of Sim Update 6. The list of changes and improvements is huge and includes changes to stability, navigation, weather, VR, activities and aircraft.

    Drzewiecki Design - EPMO Warsaw Modlin for MSFS

    Drzewiecki Design announces another MSFS 2020 scenery for Poland with the release of EPMO Warsaw Modlin. Modlin is an international airport that is used by low-cost carriers serving Warsaw. The scenery features a high quality model of the airport, up-to-date and with extensive details. The terminal includes interior modelling as does the control tower and hangars. Also included are area landmarks.

    29Palms Scenery Design Previews Nuremburg For MSFS

    Scenery designer 29Palms have released their first preview images of EDDN Nuremberg for MSFS 2020. An update is also coming for the other simulators, including the new car park P4 and the most recent apron layout.

    LatinVFR Releases Airport Jetway Pro Trailer For MSFS

    Just released is a trailer from LatinVFR of their soon to be released add-on Airport Jetway Pro for MSFS 2020. This add-on replaces the default airport jetway within Microsoft Flight Simulator with a more detailed and complex jetway that has more details, sounds, lights.

    FSRealistic Development Update Video Released

    A new video has just been released that demonstrates 3 of the 24 sound effects that will be included in the FSRealistic Sound Pack when it is released for MSFS 2020. Developers expect to enter beta testing by the end of this month.
