    Fsdreamteam Updates Vancouver MSFS

    Fsdreamteam announces a major update to their Vancouver Airport (CYVR) scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The airport is now completely update to 2020, with Main Terminal Pier D extension added, airside operations building area added, added details at de-icing pad and many more added details.

    IndiaFoxtEcho Long-EZ Update Under Development

    IndiaFoxtEcho released their Long-EZ for Microsoft Flight Simulation a few weeks ago and has been collecting feedback from users. This morning they've announced they are working on an update based on this feedback to address things like the canopy glass. MSFS 2020 pilots should have this updated version available shortly.

    QualityWings Announces 787 Ultimate For MSFS

    Another developer announces their plans for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator, with QualityWings providing some preview images of their 787 Ultimate. This is just the sort of plane that many MSFS 2020 users have been asking for, but you'll have to be patient as it's not expected to be ready until Q2 of 2021. QualityWings will also continue improving their FSX/P3D version of the 787.

    REX Weather Force Tech Update 1.1 Public Preview Available

    The public preview of Technical Update 1.1 of REX Weather Force 2020 is now available to try in Microsoft Flight Simulator. The software is available for download but with a limited run time and at the user's risk. It does include a variety of fixes as well as a couple of additions.

    IndiaFoxtEcho MSFS 2020 Vision And Product Roadmap

    Aircraft designer IndiaFoxtEcho has posted a major announcement about their plans for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Their first two releases have been well received and they now have ten new projects in the works. Because of the current state of MSFS 2020 these are separated into three tiers, depending on whether the planes can be accurately done now given the current state of the sim or whether they are longer term projects.

    MK-Studios New Screen Shots Of Helsinki

    MK-Studios reports progress on their scenery of Helsinki Airport, with the release of some new screen shots. No firm release date yet, but the do expect it before the VATSIM Cross the Pond event in a few weeks.

    MSFS October 22 Development Update

    Two months after the initial release, weekly updates continue from the Microsoft Flight Simulator development team. They are prepping to release update #5 next week and will be hosting a live developer Q&A. A new video has been released showcasing North America, they are back on track on the VR build and the SDK continues to improve.

    FS Academy Releases IFR Training Program For MSFS

    Microsoft Flight Simulator wishing to improve their skills in a realistic manner will be interested in IFR just released by FS Academy. This package provides instrument training lessons for MSFS 2020 very similar to what real world pilots use. These skills apply to any plane you wish to fly and cover both classic "steam gauges" and modern glass cockpits.

    Sofly Guide To Flight Simulator MSFS 2020 Update To v1.60

    The new Microsoft Flight Simulator is sadly missing a user manual. But publisher SoFly has stepped in with the release of their A Guide To Flight Simulator. Published as an ebook in PDF format, the book covers the knowledge you need to use MSFS. Originally 120 pages, this latest update expands the book to 232 pages. Included in this update is a section on the new Japan world scenery, new info in the performance section, improved photos throughout and more.

    Prealsoft Scenery Design Releases Casablanca MSFS

    Prealsoft Scenery Design announces the release of their first scenery for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator. Casablanca Airport GMMN features Mohammed V International Airport, serving the economic capital of Morocco. The scenery features a highly detailed airport, customized ground and 3D buildings, animated jetways, etc.

    SamScene3D Update On Hong Kong Scenery

    SamScene3D continues to work on their scenery package for Hong Kong, Hong Kong City Times, for MSFS. The Microsoft Flight Simulator release is planned for the end of this month, with a Prepar3D version coming in November. Today they have released some new screen shots showing the city at night.
