While FlightSim.Com maintains a record of pretty much 100% up time, on occasion we do have to take the site offline to do some work. On Tuesday at 9 am EDT we will be moving the site to new servers as a planned upgrade. After being quiet for a few months, now FSLabs offers a detailed update on the development plans. This time around we're remembering something slightly different, the Hawker Hunter Tower Bridge incident of 1968. The incident occurred on 5 April 1968, when RAF Hawker Hunter pilot Alan Pollock performed unauthorised low flying over several London landmarks and then flew through the span of Tower Bridge on the River Thames. His actions were to mark the 50th anniversary of the founding of the RAF.
