      QualityWings Announces New Version of BAe 146 Series

      In a brief announcement, QualityWings indicated that an "old friend" is coming to a new platform. Picturing an RJ85, this would seem to indicate the Ultimate 146 Collection of BAe 146 and Avro RJ series airliners which has been out for several years for FSX and early versions of Prepar3D. Presumably, the new platform with be Prepar3D v4.

      Flight1 Releases Ground Environment Prepar3D 1.2

      Flight1 has announced that their award winning scenery product Ground Environment Prepar3D has been updated to v1.2. GEP3D supports and can be used in all versions of Prepar3D. This development cycle provides a large Europe content update as well as parts of the USA/Canada and Australia however the changes will also be seen and enjoyed in many other locations around the world.

      Turbulent Designs Angwin-Parrett Field Now Freeware

      Turbulent Designs has now released their Angwin-Parrett Field as freeware. It is located in the small town of Angwin in Napa County, Northern California, USA. This package contains an additional bonus airfield, Pope Lake, located to the north. Modeled from on-site photography, this FSX/P3D scenery offers an incredibly detailed rendition of the airport.

      Celestial Team 2 - Yangzhou Taizhou International Airport

      New for FSX and Prepar3D from Celestial Team 2 is scenery of Yangzhou Taizhou International Airport (ZSYA) in China. This is a major airport serving several cities in the region.

      Orbx Announces KSBA Santa Barbara For FSX/P3D

      Orbx designer Misha Cajic announces his latest project, KSBA Santa Barbara for FSX and Prepar3D. Santa Barbara Airport is served by five airlines and also has GA traffic keeping its three runways busy. In addition to the detailed airport the scenery will include 500 sq km of the surrounding area, covering the entire city of Santa Barbara plus Goleta and the nearby mountain range.

      Vidan Design - Aalborg X Released

      We've been watching the previews for a while but now Vidan Design has finally released their Aalborg X scenery for FSX, FSX: Steam and Prepar3D v4. This is a higly detailed version of the airport and the associated military air base, based on custom on-site photography. It offers lots of details like animated support vehicles and military vehicles.

      Milviz Previews ATR Cockpit

      Milviz continues to be busy on a number of upcoming projects, including the ATR turboprop airliner. In the comments, they describe it as a "64-bit" model so it is expected to support Prepar3D v4 and eventually X-Plane. We now have an early look at the virtual cockpit.

      MK-Studios Announces EKVG Vagar Airport Scenery

      MK-Studios today has announced their next scenery project, Vagar Airport (EKVG) in the Faroe Islands. It is in fact the only airport on these remote islands and makes for a scenic and exciting destination for airline flights. It's reported to be available "soon" for P3D v4 and there's mention that a future X-Plane version is a possibility.

      DC3 Airways World Rally 2018

      DC3 Airways announces World Rally 2018. This event, coming up in November, is for users of most popular flight simulators but must be flown in a DC-3 or C-47 type aircraft. Being an air rally, fastest is not the winner, rather the goal is to accurate fly each leg at a designated speed.

      Drzewiecki Design Updates Seattle Scenery

      Drzewiecki Design has announced that Seattle Airports X v1.3 has been sent to stores. It features optional Dynamic Lighting for P3Dv4 (for all airports except S50). Customers will be notified by stores as soon as the new version is available.
