      FlightSim Community Survey 2019

      During November Navigraph is conducting its annual FlightSim Community Survey together with several major add-on developers and organizations within the flight simulator community. The survey, the largest of its kind, aims to gauge the prevailing flight simulation trends and users' requests for future development. We hope you will take part. Last year over 15,000 flightsimmers completed the survey.

      UK2000 Scenery - 2020 Roadmap

      UK2000 Scenery has announced their 2020 roadmap, with plans on what scenery they will remake and bring up to the latest HD standards. UK2000 creates scenery for FSX, Prepar3D and X-Plane and during 2020 plans scenery of Luton, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stansted, Cardiff and East Midlands.

      Aeroplane Heaven Update On Hurricane Mk1

      Aeroplane Heaven reports news that their Hurricane Mk1 is nearing completion. With full PBR materials and textures they believe it to be the first warbird created inside and out completely with PBR. There are lots of details and many unique animations. The screen shots are from Prepar3D v4.5 but the plane will also be coming for FSX.

      UK2000 Scenery Updates Bristol Scenery

      UK2000 Scenery announces the release of UK2000 Bristol 2019HD for Prepar3D and FSX (X-Plane version due mid December). UK2000 Scenery has gone 'HD' and 'PBR' (not FSX version). Bristol includes realistic and accurate ground markings, detailed photoreal models and textures, P3D v4 dynamic lighting, replacement runway and approach lighting system. Now updated to v1.01 with bug fixes.

      Aerosoft - Geneva Professional

      Aerosoft expands their range of Prepar3D v4 scenery with the release of Geneva Professional. This scenery recreates Geneva Airport at a high level of detail with all its buildings and facilities. Seasonal adjustments, faithfully modelled runway lighting and excellent night effects make the scenery shine at all times. All the markings and navaids appear just as in real life.

      PMDG NGXu Update And Paint Kit Pending

      PMDG has some news about their 737 NGXu aircraft. Two updates are planned for this week. These are expected to be normal post-release clean-up updates, though one new feature will allow for various choices on how nose wheel steerring works. Also coming this week is a paint kit.

      DC Designs reports steady progress on their F/A-18E/F/G Super Hornet package for both FSX and Prepar3D. Liveries have been announced and work is proceeding on the undercarriage and lighting.

      Imaginesim Announces TBPB Barbados for Prepar3D v4

      Imaginesim has announced a new scenery for Prepar3D v4 coming soon: TBPB Barbados. Originally designed for a commercial client, permission has been obtained for a general release and it is expected to be packaged and ready for the Christmas season. Possible X-Plane and Microsoft Flight Simulator versions will be discussed in January.

      Review: Aerosoft - FSDG Rhodes

      The island of Rhodos - Island of Knights makes a great flying destination. Reviewer MrYorkiesWorld has been there many times and now takes a look at the version for FSX and Prepar3D published by Aerosoft. In FSDG Rhodes you'll find the island's two airports in great detail, along with the rest of the island. "A big win" was the review verdict.
