• Review: Carenado - PA31 Navajo For X-Plane 11

    The PA31 Navajo twin nicely expands the Carenado line of GA aircraft for X-Plane 11. We're lucky to have Sean McLeod available to review it, as he has extensive experience flying the Navajo early in his professional career. He found the plane to be beautifully rendered and accurately brought back many happy memories of flying the real thing.

    FlightSim.Com Best Of 2018 FS2004 Freeware

    After posting our "Best Of 2018" article featuring our reviewers' favorite payware, the comments we got were "what about freeware" and "don't forget FS2004". So, thanks to Robin Meyerowitz who stepped up and put together his list of favorite FS2004 freeware for 2018. Maybe not exactly a "best of" but it represents a great collection of FS2004 add-ons in a variety of categories.

    Review: ASDG Piper Super Cub

    The Piper Cub is a classic and the Piper Super Cub is an even better version of that aircraft. ASDG offers a package with four variants, with different engines, tires and even floats. giving the X-Plane pilot a variety of ways to fly. Shawn Weigelt found the plane less than perfect but still undeniably a good value.

    Review: Thrustmaster T-Flight Headset

    Reviewer Tony Vallillo offers us a history of the headset as used in aviation, going back the days of the leather helmet. Headsets improved greatly over the years and are now also available for flight simulator use. The Thrustmaster T-Flight Headset (USAF Edition) is one such set which Tony recently got to try and found it to be a simple plug and play device that worked well and was realistic compared to actual aviation headsets.

    A Look Back at F19 Stealth Fighter by Microprose

    With a little nostalgia in mind, Dominic Smith looks at a favorite Christmas present, and one of the best flight simulators...of 1990. F-19 Stealth Fighter by Microprose was state of the art in its day and provided lots of fun for flight simmers back then. Amazingly, you can still purchase it today, at a bargain price.

    VSKYLABS Aerospace Simulations announces the release of their Mini-500 helicopter. This project is part of the VSKYLABS 'Test-Pilot' series, designed specifically for use with X-Plane 11.30+ cutting edge Experimental Flight Model. The Revolution Mini-500 is an American single seat light helicopter that is built from a kit.

    Flysimware's Falcon 50 Updated v1.6

    Since its original release in early December, Flysimware has made several sets of updates to their Falcon 50 for FSX and Prepar3D. Customers can re-download the product to get the v1.6 updates and new customers will of course get the latest version.

    Flysimware Updates Learjet 35A

    Flysimware has released v4.0 for their Learjet 35A for FSX and Prepar3D. The update includes new features and bug fixes. New features include a new autopilot panel with real world layout, new exterior lights resized for P3D, a GPS configuration tool, combined altitude alerter and altimater gauges and more.

    France VFR - Obstacles & VFR Landmarks

    Obstacles & VFR landmarks - FRANCE is an add-on for Prepar3D covering the entire French territory and designed to add more than 500,000 landmarks to the scenery, including virtually all of the obstacles to navigation identified by the SIA (Service for Aeronautical Information), that have been qualified and geo-referenced.

    ASXP Development Update
