    Review: Just Flight - TB10 and TB20 XP for X-Plane 11

    Just Flight, in partnership with Thranda Design, have produced the TB-10 Tobago & TB-20 Trinidad for X-Plane 11. The Socata TB-10 Tobago and TB-20 Trinidad are French GA aircraft with spacious and comfortable cabins. For X-Plane 11, they feature PBR materials with real-time environment reflections, 4096 x 4096 textures and more. Reviewer Nigel Porter found they plane had some flaws but he enjoyed flying it.

    Review: Taburet - Mesh XP East USA 2 for X-Plane

    MeshXP USA East 2 for X-Plane from Taburet is compiled using 30 m resolution elevation models. It uses highly detailed hydrological data to rebuild completely the hydrological scenery to very high detail. It can be used on its own or underneath photorealistic scenery. Paul Mort tried it and found it highly impressive either with or without photographic scenery.

    Review: First Class Sim - Vickers Wellington Bomber

    Sometimes our writers like to look at an older product that remains a favorite. In this review Felicity Smith looks at the Vickers Wellington from First Class Sim for FS2004 and FSX. The Wellington was used throughout WWII and obtained a good reputation. The flight simulator version faithfully manages to bring this aircraft to life, with four different variants of the plane plus an RAF base scenery and several missions.

    Review: Global Art - Toronto Pearson Airport

    Toronto Pearson International Airport (CYYZ) is the largest and busiest airport in Canada, and is now well represented in X-Plane thanks to the scenery package from Global Art. Reviewer Patrick Putland found it to be a nice recreation of the airport, with perfect night lighting, accurate textures, realistic buildings and neat details like the terminal link train that moves on rails.

    Review: Carenado - CT210M Centurion II for X-Plane 11

    Carenado created the CT210M Centurion II specifically for X-Plane 11. This big general aviation single engine plane features specially designed physics optimized for XP11. Other features include full PBR, specially designed engine dynamics, FPS friendly GNS530, five liveries and PDF documentation. Reviewer Sean McLeod found it to be a high-quality, polished package worth adding to your hangar.

    Review: France VFR - Midi Pyrenees Volume 1

    France VFR has a range of products for FSX and Prepar3D that are well described by their company name. In this review, Nigel Porter looks at one of their newer offerings, Midi Pyrenees Volume 1, covering a roughly 70x70 mile region northeast of Toulouse that includes some beautiful gorges and other scenery. Overall, Nigel found it to be a solid product.

    Just Flight Announces Beech Duchess And Piper Archer III

    In of a series of new flight simulator product announcements on their Facebook page, Just Flight announced they will bring you two four-seater light aircraft. First is the Duchess Model 76 is being developed for FSX and Prepar3D for starters. Also coming is the PA28-181 Archer III, initially for FSX and Prepar3D.

    TFDi Design 717 Version 1.1 Released

    The TFDi Design 717 has just been updated to v1.1, according to an announcement on the TFDi web site. Their Community Opt-In Beta over the past year let them research, develop and refine the aircraft, resulting in a massive number of additions and fixes. With this release 717 development will be winding down and TFDi will be putting more focus into future projects.

    Aerosoft - CRJ 700/900 Service Pack 1 Available

    Aerosoft has announced the release of Service Pack 1 (SP1, v1.2.0) for their CRJ 700/900 aircraft product. Please note that SP1 requires the latest Prepar3D v4.3 to use. In a separate announcement Mathijs Kok of Aerosoft announced that this will be the end of development for 32 bit platforms. While support will continue to be offered, any future enhancements will only be for 64 bit sims.
