While offering scant details, Turbulent Designs has shown some pictures of upcoming projects. They report working on scenery for both Prepar3D v4 and X-Plane. Judging by the photos and comments they are working on some large commercial airports that will includes lots of detailed objects.
Aerobask previously provided some preview screen shots of their upcoming Epic E1000 for X-Plane 11. They have now released a video showing this plane in action. The Aerobask Epic E1000 is fitted with a custom-enhanced Laminar G1000 avionics suite.
X-Plane scenery designer David Flamm specializes in a very scenic part of the world: Alaska. Being a native he knows the area well and often visits the places he creates scenery for. EGPB Sumburgh Airport from Orbx is the first ever airport for X-Plane 11 designed to integrate with TrueEarth GB North and it's coming soon. EGPB features realistic night lighting, highly detailed airport modelling, and a large coverage area of photoreal scenery. Sumburgh Airport is the main airport serving Shetland in Scotland.
The new PA-28-181 Archer III for X-Plane from Just Flight, developed in partnership with Thranda Design, comes in ten paint schemes and features PBR materials with real-time environment reflections, HD textures, numerous accurate animations and down-to-the-rivet detailing. It is now available at the FlightSim.Com Store.
The French airport Courchevel is one of the world's most extreme airports. It serves a ski resort in the French Alps and the runway itself looks much like ski slope. Gaya Simulation announces their progress on bringing this airport to X-Plane and provides some screen shots.
In honor of the 50th anniversary of the Boeing 747 first flight, Supercritical Simulations Group previews their SSG 747-8 V2 for X-Plane. The preview images show progress on the external model but similar work is being done on the rest of the model. When done it will feature 4K textures and lots of details.
Damyns Hall Aerodrome is a small but feature rich airfield which features realistic vegetation, delivering the most realistic rural environment possible. Located 2 nm from Upminster in the London Borough of Havering, England, this airfield boasts around 100 acres of grassland. Now available from Orbx for X-Plane 11.
The "Aeroporto di Bergamo-Orio al Serio", also often called Milan/Bergamo, is one of three international airports in the Milan region. With Airport Bergamo from Aerosoft, this airport now finds its way to X-Plane 11, complete with all buildings and service facilities.
X-Plane scenery designer Vertical-Simulations asks "who's ready for some eastern Iowa action?" and offers some preview screen shots of their upcoming scenery.
Lisbon XP from Taburet is a complete scenery for the city of Lisbon, Portugal, both day and night. It includes custom objects, custom lighting, autogen blended into a photorealistic base texturing. All objects and buildings are based on real world data, position, dimension as accurate as possible. Lisbon's landmarks are now depicted into LisbonXP. The scenery extends much further than downtown Lisbon, providing more immersive low level flights.

In this review, Stuart McGregor actually looks at two products for X-Plane from Orbx. First is TrueEarth Great Britain South with enhances a large portion of the southern UK. Next is Southampton Airport, which is treated with the usual Orbx high level of detail. Stuart found this combination to be an excellent addition to X-Plane 11.
For nearly twenty years, GoFlight has been a leader in providing cockpit controls and instruments for flight simulator pilots. Today they've announced that the company has been sold to a new owner. No word on who this is, other than stating that the new owner brings many years of experience applicable to the type of development GoFlight does so hopefully this means an improved and revitalized company.
UK2000 announces the release of Belfast International Xtreme X-Plane Edition. Belfast International airport is principal international Gateway to Northern Ireland.
