    Review: Orbx TrueEarth Great Britain North

    With the release of TrueEarth Great Britain North, along with the two previous volumes from Orbx, X-Plane pilots can fly throughout the British Isles over outstanding scenery.     Digital Replica Releases Cessna 310L Update v1.1.0

    Digital Replica announces an updated v1.1.0 for their Cessna 310L. Released last summer, this light twin already has features like a full 3D cockpit complete with PBR. It now also has Librain effect and de-ice systems implements, plus other improvements and fixes.

    VSKYLABS announces that their next helicopter project for X-Plane will be the Cicare 8. From the one supplied image it's clear that development has just started. At the present time they expect release late in 2019 or early 2020.

    FSDG X-Plane Scenery Now Available

    Four new X-Plane 11 scenery packages from FSDG and published by Aerosoft are now available at the FlightSim.Com Store. Three of them take you to the continent of Africa to visit Egypt, Morocco and Senegal while the fourth takes you to Austria in Europe. Included are Sharm El-Sheikh, Dakar, Agadir and Graz Thalerhof.

    UK2000 Scenery Releases Bournemouth X-Treme for X-Plane

    UK2000 Scenery announces that Bournemouth X-Treme X-Plane Edition has been released. This scenery was previously available for FS2004, FSX and Prepar3D. Originally an RAF base, Bournemouth now sees some charter and airline traffic. The scenery includes the usual UK2000 features like fully detailed buildings, realistic ground markings, custom light effects, custom taxiways, etc.

    X-Plane 11.33b1 Is Now Available

    Laminar Research has today announced that X-Plane 11.33b1 is now available. This is an incremental update that includes updated Gateway airports and translations, crash fixes and diagnostics, minor UI improvements, and bug fixes. Being a beta it will not install automatically so users must run the installer and opt for betas.

    Grand Island Sim Annouces St Johns and Zanzibar

    Developer Grand Island Sim has been quiet for a while but has now announced two new scenery packages. The first is St Johns CYYT and judging by the screen shots it is fairly well along. Also announced is Zanzibar HTZA which is still early in development. St Johns is expected for Prepar3D late this year, with an X-Plane version a few months later.

    Reality Expansion Pack for Carenado B58 XP11

    SimCoders has released a version of their Reality Expansion Pack to go with the B58 Baron just released for X-Plane 11 by Carenado. REP replaces the internals of the sim with custom ones, enhancing the realism. Included are flight and ground dynamics, electrical systems, real world physics, new stereo sounds and more.

    Nimbus Simulation Studios Shows Huey WIP

    Nimbus Simulation Studios has offered up some images and news on their upcoming Huey helicopter for X-Plane. Judging by the pictures it's nearing completion and they confirm that things like the maintenance module are almost done. The chopper will feature a "copilot" that will let you enjoy the view while holding altitude, heading or bank.
