Aerosoft - Douglas DC-8 Now Supports FSX

The Douglas DC-8 was one of the aircraft that brought long distance air travel to the masses. For a long time, we lacked these important aircraft in our simulators but this add-on for Prepar3D v4 and now also for FSX from Aerosoft adds a version to your virtual hangar that is not only looking and sounding good, but also offers a good system depth. Every real pilot will enjoy navigating by VOR and NDB and manually managing the four finicky power plants. It is hard work but the DC-8 will reward you with great handling.

    Review: Orbx FTX Global

Though not one of their newer products, FTX Global for FSX and Prepar3D from Orbx is one of those things considered a "must have" by many flight simmers. What it does is change the default scenery throughout the world, making textures, night lighting and so on more realistic--and without making an impact on performance. Reviewer Michael Hayward was quite impressed with the results of using this package.
