The Microsoft Flight Simulator announces that World Update IX: Italy is now available to MSFS 2020 users. The new WU9 includes historic cities like Rome and Venice - a total of twenty enhanced cities. Also included are four hand-crafted airports, improved elevation data, new points of interest (POI), etc.
Publisher Just Flight has announced that the Velocity XL being created by Black Square has now been added to their "In Development" section. Release is reported to be not far away.
Earlier today Fenix Simulations lifted the NDA on their upcoming Airbus A320 for MSFS 2020. This means that those livestreamers and video producers who have had earlier access to it can now show their work in public. Fenix has also announced that the sale price will be €49.99.
IndiaFoxtEcho has posted a report on their progress wit the F-35 Project. They are doing a complete re-write of the flight model, which will implement native MSFS Fly-By-Wire functions, including a proper G-limiter, stall protection and high AoA maneuverability. The challenge being that these FBW features are poorly documented.
