X-Plane 11 pilots looking for a more advanced general aviation aircraft will enjoy the CT182T Skylane G1000 model available from Carenado. The Turbo Skylane is faster and higher flying than most others and features a modern G1000 glass cockpit. Reviewer Shawn Weigelt takes it for a ride and offers his report.
Author Ian Radcliffe has been doing this flightsim thing for a long time -- since 1984 and FS2 on a Commodore 64. On Friday 15th November 2019, Asobo Studio, who are developing the upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator showcased their platform at X019 in London. This was the first time a stand had been made available to the public, and the team were on hand to take questions. Michael Hayward represented FlightSim.Com and had a chance to interview Martial Bossard, lead developer and co-founder of Asobo.
Miami City XP is not one of the newer products from Drzewiecki Design but is still a lot of fun for X-Plane pilots who want explore that area. The scenery emphasis is on the city and region itself, with only "lite" versions of the three included airports. Reviewer Paul Mort found the area covered impressive and generally liked the ortho imagery but wished for full featured airports.

Reviewer MrYorkiesWorld has been there many times and now takes a look at the version for FSX and Prepar3D published by Aerosoft. In FSDG Rhodes you'll find the island's two airports in great detail, along with the rest of the island. "A big win" was the review verdict.

In an unusual decision, UK2000 Scenery has announced they are withdrawing their Gatwick Xtreme scenery for X-Plane from sale as it does not meet their expectations. The scenery was converted to X-Plane some time ago, but apparently the conversion did not fully work and things like taxiway markings don't appear as they should.

FlyJSim has some news on their development of products for X-Plane. For their Q4XP aircraft, they offer some final in-sim screen shots of the cockpit. For Shared Flight, work is being done on expanding the developer back end and pilot portal.
Eagle Dynamics presents a first look at the Supercarrier module coming to DCS World. Supercarrier includes an incredibly detailed Nimitz-class aircraft carrier with all the details you'd expect like realistic 3D objects, textures, lighting, and animations.
PMDG 737 NGX-U drivers please note that FS2Crew has just released its NGX-U Edition. FS2Crew has been developing flight crew simulations and other other flight simulator products for over ten years. This new edition has features such as three SOPs from real world airlines, global FO voice set, voice and button control and more.
Microsoft returns with their weekly update on progress on the new Microsoft Flight Simulator. Recruiting for Tech Alpha 2 is nearing its end but you still have a little time to apply. A DR update has also been provided, as well as a spotlight on a mod developer.
Drzewiecki Designer offers news that their scenery for UUEE Moscow Sheremetyevo XP V2 is undergoing final tests and will soon be published, giving X-Plane pilots a new destination in Russia to visit.
News from MK-Studios is that progress is being made on their Tenerife North scenery for Prepar3D. They admit that it is taking a while and that it is still a work in progress, with PBR not present yet. A few screen shots are offered to show progress.
