    Dick Mohatt enjoys flying FSX and finding airports that need improvement. Starting in the mid-West where he grew up, his range has expanded to include some larger airports as well as military bases. Though never a pilot, Dick was in the Air Force and now being retired gives him time to create and share his creations with the rest of us.

    Once again this year, Michael Hayward was our reporter on the scene at Flight Sim Show 2019, held last weekend at the Royal Air Force Museum Cosford. This year the show was expanded to two full days and had great attendance including 35 companies with stands and many presentations.

    Review: Orbx Washington Airports

    Orbx has a long history of creating highly detailed sceneries of rather obscure but scenic and colorful airports, and their recent additions for X-Plane 11 are no exception. Reviewer Shawn Weigelt enjoyed his visits to Darrington, Anacortes and Israel's Farm and finds having the set in a close area gives some nice places to fly between.

    PKSIM Projects Updates

    PKSIM has provided an updated of future projects following the launch of Bogota. Scenery of Lima - Jorge Chavez International Airport is already in the works. Rionegro is in plan to make it native P3D v4. Finally in plan is an update to Barranquila with things like new facades and SODE jetways.

    Team SDB Scenery - RAF Little Rissington for FSX/P3D

    Team SDB expands their range of UK military airfields with the release of RAF Little Rissington for FSX and Prepar3D. Originally built as a paved airfield for WWII, this scenery depicts the airfield as it was in the 1970's when the base was home to the RAF Central Flying School with Hunting Jet Provost T3 and Scottish Aviation Bulldog T1 trainers.

    Aerosoft - Chania - Ioannis Daskalogiannis Airport for P3D v4

    Airport Chania, named after the Crete resistance fighter "Ioannis Daskalogiannis", is now available in Prepar3D from Aerosoft The international airport is located on the Akrotiri peninsula that is part of the island of Crete in southern Greece. The airport is nicely detailed with lots of 3D objects including the new terminal completed in 2018.

    "Gateway to Mount Everest" and "World's Most Dangerous Airport" are certainly the most commonly used attributes for Lukla - an airport that seems out of this world.     Aeroplane Heaven Previews Tecnam P2010

    Aeroplane Heaven today provides news of their upcoming Tecnam P2010 for Prepar3D, a modern light plane with a composite fuselage and interior more like a sports car than an aeroplane. They report it is nearing completion, with the VC almost done.
