Well known freeware development group Tenkuu Developers Studio (TDS) announces the release of the Boeing 737 MAX 7 v3 for FS2004 and Prepar3D v4. Because of the problem of unpermitted MSFS 2020 migration of FSX aircraft designs, they have chosen not to release an FSX version. The new base model is now available in the FlightSim.Com file library.
Though keen to release this week, the PA28R Arrow III is still not quite ready, according to the latest announcement from Just Flight. They want to get it perfect before release so will spend the weekend implementing final changes, with release now anticipated for early next week.
New to the FlightSim.Com Store is scenery developer South Oak Co and their first add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator, PHLU - Kalaupapa Hawaii. Kalaupapa is a regional airport on the northern coast on the island of Molokai. FlyingIron Simulations announces the release of the Spitfire L.F Mk IXc for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This Spitfire is famous for its WWII role in the Battle of Britain. The model features a perfect replica of the Mk. IX cockpit, down to the smallest detail and ultra-high artwork across the entire aircraft.
Verticalsim announces the release of MSFS 2020 scenery of Peter O. Knight Airport in Tampa, Florida, USA. It features PBR buildings and ground textures, the latest airport layout, custom vegetation, details models, clutter objects and more.
The Microsoft Flight Simulator team have released their weekly developer update, though there's not a lot of news this time around. Mostly it's about things that have not happened yet, like the Sim Update 3 slated to go live next week. The devs will also be doing another live Q&A session next week if you want to connect with them.
Taburet expands the range of Night3D scenery products for Microsoft Flight Simulator with the release of Night3D New Zealand. Night3D introduces new lamps into the existing ecosystem and is designed to work together with default lights. It is designed to create in the nocturnal MSFS world those little details the night bring with its darkness.
