• Review: Boundless Simulations - EGNS Isle of Man

    Reviewer Paul Mort takes a look at the first payware X-Plane 11 scenery from Boundless Simulations. The scenery features EGNS Isle of Man, a British Dependency located in the Irish Sea. He found the scenery to be very immersive, with lots of little details that bring it to life. Buildings, runways and taxiways were nicely textured, and good night lighting is included as well.

    Review: Orbx Dundee Airport for X-Plane

    Orbx adds the third biggest airport in Scotland to the X-Plane 11 landscape with their version of Dundee Airport (EGPN). Reviewer Stuart McGregor found the airport had many of the details and little touches that Orbx is well known for. He considers it a keep that he will enjoy visiting again.

    Review: DC Scenery Design - SNPJ Patrocinio Airport

    It's nice to see designers trying the new Microsoft Flight Simulator and here we take a look at SNPJ Patrocinio Airport in Brazil from designer DC Scenery Design. It's a fairly simple airport, but also very inexpensive. Reviewer Neil Birch finds flying there an enjoyable experience, with good models and textures and a good fit into the surrounding scenery.

    Review: Drzewiecki Design - Washington Landmarks MSFS

    The new Microsoft Flight Simulator is capable of displaying spectacular scenery, but in famous locations a well practiced scenery designer like Drzewiecki Design is needed to bring out the best. Washington Landmarks MSFS covers the entire US capital area with custom hand-made buildings, monuments and other major facilities. Reviewer Michael Hayward finds the improvement to be great, with a lot to see as you explore the city.

    IndiaFoxtEcho Visual Simulations - Aermacchi MB-339 for MSFS

    Frecce Tricolori Virtuali and IndiaFoxtEcho Visual Simulations present the Aermacchi MB-339 for MSFS 2020. The MB-339 is a military jet trainer and light attack aircraft designed and manufactured by Italian aviation company Aermacchi.     FSimStudios Previews Vancouver Airport

    FSimStudios has some news on their upcoming Vancouver International Airport. The scenery is expected to be released for Prepar3D by the end of the month and for MSFS 2020 soon after. The scenery will offer a 178 sq km coverage area to include downtown Vancouver with custom-made buildings. The airport will be accurate to August of 2020.

    CloudSurf Asia Announces Singapore Downtown MSFS

    CloudSurf Asia announces their first scenery for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator, Downtown Singapore. Created in extremely high resolution, it will be packed with hundreds of authentic 3D models to represent the heart of the city as realistically as possible. It will use full PBR and offer lighting effects at night.

    Virtualcol First Test Flight For MSFS

    Virtualcol announces their first airplane for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator will be the Beechcraft 99. Work has progressed to the point where they have just had their first successful test flight of the plane's external model. The interior is still in development and the exterior still needs some adjustments, but they hope to have a release in November.
