After many years as a flightsim general aviation pilot, Laurie Doering decided to learn how to fly a commercial airliner, specifically, the Fenix Airbus A320. After a steep learning curve he shares his experience with you in this video.
The Sonex-B is a home-built aircraft that has some nice flying qualities, which X-Plane pilots can now experience thanks to Mountain Lion Studios. Reviewer Stuart McGregor tries both their Sonex-B and WAIEX-B variants. He finds the result even better than expected and though simple looking planes they are great to fly.
The new "Top Gun Maverick" add-on for MSFS 2020 provides for some exciting flying opportunities, with the new Darkstar aircraft being a real challenge as it is so different from conventional aircraft. Here in two quick tutorial videos, thecorporatepilotdad shows you how to get this aircraft up to speed.
Some flightsim aircraft, such as the Milviz Cessna 310R have such systems depth that they can replica things outside the normal flight envelope, such as an engine failure emergency. In this video, Laurie Doering has a right engine failure and demonstrates how to handle it using real world checklists, offering unparalleled realism in the home computer.
What Is RonTom? The authors are two "Old Timers" with a passion for aviation and a penchant for telling stories. The result is some aviation / flightsim storytelling based on some real world locations that they think are fun and interesting. This time they head south - all the way south - and visit Antarctica.
This review video by Foxtrot Ostrich offers a quick view of the recently released E190/E195 Series from Virtualcol. This publisher is known for their reasonably priced aircraft add-ons that provide users a good value while not having to deal with the complexity of a "study level" aircraft.

These craft will only appear around sites that are know to host such activity.
AuthentiKit is a freeware community project that creates high quality replica flight controls for flight simulation based around 3D printing.
