• Review: pizzagalli.ch - MV-22 Osprey XP11

    The Bell-Boeing MV-22 Osprey is one of the more unusual aircraft available for X-Plane 11. Half airplane and half helicopter, it provides an interesting flying challenge. Reviewer Stuart McGregor found the experience using the craft from pizzagalli.ch extremely rewarding. As a low-cost offering he found some of the details not to the highest standard, but this was easily overlooked in the overall picture.

    The Microsoft Flight Simulator team pushed out the Xbox version of the sim a PC version Sim Update 5 this past week, but apparently it's in need of a hotfix. This is expected to be available tomorrow morning. The latest development update has details on what will be fixed.

    Working Title Releases Early Access G1000 NXi For MSFS

    Working Title announces that their G1000 NXi for MSFS 2020 is now available as early access. The package replaces the stock G1000 avionics in planes that use that panel. The new panel has been implemented from the ground up, but as an early access version there are still some features that have not yet been implemented.

    IndiaFoxtEcho Long-EZ Updated to v1.1.9

    IndiaFoxtEcho has announced an update to their Long-EZ for MSFS 2020. This is in response to the Microsoft Flight Simulator Sim Update 5 just released, but also includes some improvements to the cockpit and adds more LODs to the external model for better performance.

    PMDG Notice Regarding Sim Update 5 And Their DC-6

    With Microsoft Flight Simulator Sim Update 5 now out, PMDG has further info on the necessary update to their Douglas DC-6 add-on. The update is now available to customers via their operations center. While primarily driven by MSFS 2020 SU5, a few other changes from their collection of service reports is also included.

    Simworks Studios Updates Zenith And Okavango MSFS

    The just release update 5 for Microsoft Flight Simulator has broken made third party add-ons so we'll likely be hearing many announcements like this. Simworks Studios has announced updates for the Zenith CH701 aircraft and Okavango Delta scenery for MSFS 2020.
