    Review: Orbx Caernarfon Airport for X-Plane 11

    it's always nice to have a reviewer who knows the airfield under review, and reviewer Paul Mort fits the bill in examining Caernarfon Airport in Wales published by Orbx. He was very pleased with the stunning scenery and now considers it one of his favorite airports.

    Review: Just Flight - Mosquito FB Mk VI

    The De Havilland DH.98 Mosquito was one of the great planes to come out of Great Britain during WWII. Originally thought of as a bomber, the "Mossie" ended up serving in a variety of roles. Reviewer Dale Ashcroft found the experience to be "sensational", being fun to fly and particularly immersive when used with VR.

    Review: Aerosoft - Airport Ibiza XP

    X-Plane pilots, head to the party capital of Europe with Airport Ibiza XP from Aerosoft. The scenery brings the island to life, as as reviewer Robin Tannahill describes it, you can "feel the heat". Whether heading in on a big jet or taking a GA tour around the island he found it to be a good value.

    PMDG will soon offer the option to add cargo to your fleet with the 737NGXu Cargo Expansion Package for Prepar3D. As an expansion it will require the 737 base pack but will offer an all new system simulation using the latest PMDG system simulation engine.

    Scenery designer Stairport CYQM Greater Moncton International Airport is coming to X-Plane. Located in New Brunswick, Canada, the provided screen shots indicate development is just getting started, showing only individual buildings with no textures.

    LatinVFR Releases Bradley Airport For P3D

    LatinVFR has news of a new scenery just released for Prepar3D v4 and v5: Bradley International Airport (KBDL), serving the Hartford area in Connecticut and Springfield in Massachusetts. The scenery includes all buildings and objects made from native PBR materials, animated jetways, SODE controlled lighting, script controlled seasons, animated vehicles and other features.

    Fly The Maddog X Update

    Leonardo SH announces an update to their Fly the Maddog X 64 bit version for Prepar3D v4 and v5. It includes the much anticipated EFB (electronic flight bag) and its included apps, but the build also includes a bunch of fixes and enhancements.

    WF Scenery Studio - Hong Kong International Airport VHHH

    WF Scenery Studio announces the release of Hong Kong International Airport VHHH for Prepar3D. The scenery features animated jetways, PBR textures, dynamic lights, animated vehicles, real ground markings and off airport features including the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.

    Milviz Announces DHC-2 For MSFS

    Milviz continues to announce more aircraft planned for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator. Today's news is of the DHC-2 Beaver, a classic bush plane that Milviz has previously created for FSX and Prepar3D. Only one screen shot is provided but the exterior at least looks fully developed.

    PerfectSoft Studio Announces Liege For MSFS

    Scenery developer PerfectSoft Studio has announced that their first add-on for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator will be Liege Airport. Some early work in progress screen shots were included in the announcement, showing some highly detailed building models that still need to be installed into the overall scenery.

    Microsoft Flight Simulator August 6th, 2020 Development Update

    The release date keeps getting closer, but Microsoft continues to give us weekly updates on the new Microsoft Flight Simulator. An interesting video presentation is the partnership series introducing Blackshark.ai. There is also news on the SDK and development roadmap which makes it clear there will still be deliverables (additional features) coming after the initial launch date.

It adds a new business dimension to the flight sim, where you operate as an entrepreneur pilot for hire where you pick your jobs and collect your fees. A rating system assesses your skills and you progress to better jobs as time goes on.

    Big Tire Productions Kitfox For MSFS

    Aircraft designer Big Tire Productions has previously designed only for X-Plane but has just announced that their Kitfox will be coming to MSFS, and will be offered free to all who purchased the X-Plane version.
