    Author Ian Radcliffe has been flightsimming for a long time -- since 1984 and FS2 on a Commodore 64.     Review: Just Flight - Mosquito FB Mk VI

    The De Havilland DH.98 Mosquito was one of the great planes to come out of Great Britain during WWII. Originally thought of as a bomber, the "Mossie" ended up serving in a variety of roles. Reviewer Dale Ashcroft found the experience to be "sensational", being fun to fly and particularly immersive when used with VR.

    Review: Aerosoft - Airport Ibiza XP

    X-Plane pilots, head to the party capital of Europe with Airport Ibiza XP from Aerosoft. The scenery brings the island to life, as as reviewer Robin Tannahill describes it, you can "feel the heat". Whether heading in on a big jet or taking a GA tour around the island he found it to be a good value.

    Review: Orbx 2W3 Swanson Airport for X-Plane 11

    2W3 Swanson Airport is a quaint and unique airfield with residents living in their houses on both sides of the runway, some of them with private hangars and aircraft. This is the sort of airport scenery that Orbx is known for. Reviewer Shawn Weigelt was extremely impressed with it, and found it ran smoothly on his mid-grade system.

    Review: SimWorks Studios - T-37B Tweet

    The T-37B Tweet had a long career as the U.S. military's primary jet trainer. SimWorks Studios brings this classic to Prepar3D and reviewer Ray Andersen takes a look. He finds it to be an absolutely awesome simulator, with a perfect focus on details and a comprehensive and detailed flight model.

    Review: Just Flight - Hawker Hunter F.6/FGA.9

    The Hawker Hunter was an early British jet fighter aircraft and one-time world air speed record holder. Just Flight has created a nice version for FSX/P3D with a number of variants and liveries. Reviewer Dale Ashcroft found himself very pleased with the results, finding it to be well detailed, fun to fly and a smooth experience throughout.

    Prepar3D v5 vs X-Plane 11 Vulkan

    So, which is better, the latest Prepar3D v5 or is it X-Plane 11? It's a tough call and daring to even try, but reviewer Michael Hayward wanted to take on the challenge anyway. He looks at all aspects of each sim and compares and contrasts their strengths. Do you agree with his conclusions?

    Where in the World Feature 125

    The Where In The World series challenge from Ron Blehm continues. A lot of people tried last month's challenge, and most were successful. An interesting clue was that the person who suggested the location had also created a freeware scenery of the location. For this month we have just a few clues--can you figure them out?

    Aerosoft Gibraltar X - 10 Years On

    Those who have stuck with FS2004 and FSX benefit from the many years that developers have had to make add-ons from these sims. But how well do the older ones hold up? In this review, Michael Hayward looks at Gibraltar X, created by Sim-Wings about ten years ago. Currently published by Aerosoft, he finds that it still holds up well and is well worth a visit.

    Just Flight Latest Shots Of VC10

    Just Flight continues to work on their VC10 jetliner for X-Plane. Today some new interior and exterior screen shots have been released which seem to indicate development is well advanced. When released it will include a number of civilian and military variants of the jet.

    FSimStudios News On MSFS Plans

    With the new Microsoft Flight Simulator release now officially announced, FSimStudios has released news of their plans. Their schedule remains unchanged, with CYVR for P3D still scheduled for August. Later it and other scenery will be converted for MSFS use, but with not date announced at this time. Other upcoming projects will continue.

    Photosim Labs Statement On New MSFS

    Another developer has weighed in with their response to the upcoming release of the new Microsoft Flight Simulator. Photosim Labs views the new sim as an opportunity. Since the number of detailed airports in the new sim will be limited they see added more airports as an incredible opportunity for them to contribute to this new sim platform.

    Take Command - TorqueSim SR22 Series Releasing Next Week

    The long development process is finally nearing the end, with TorqueSim announcing that their SR22 Series for X-Plane will be released next week. The SR22 series is the cumulation of thousands of hours of work, creating the highest quality rendition of a piston aircraft for X-Plane to date.

    UK2000 Scenery Plans For New MSFS

    Like many of us, UK2000 Scenery was surprised by how soon the new Microsoft Flight Simulator will be released. In response, all current projects will go on hold while they concentrate on getting ready for the new MSFS. No products are ready for MSFS yet but porting will begin in the next month.

    MK-Studios Bringing All Products To New MSFS

    MK-Studios has announced plans to bring all of their scenery add-ons to the new Microsoft Flight Simulator platform, though they are still waiting for the completed SDK version. Their schedule remains unchanged on previous plans for Rome and Helsinki for P3D.

    Boundless Simulations Announces Kerry Airport EIKY

    Boundless Simulations has announced that they have teamed up with Ciano35 to develop a new X-Plane scenery of Kerry Airport (EIKY) in Ireland, with release in just a few weeks. It will have features such as PBR textures, custom ground textures, full night lighting, custom vehicles and more.

    We've been watching its progress for quite a while now, and today VSKYLABS has announced the release of their Fraundorfer Aeronautics Tensor 600X Project. X-Plane 11 pilots can now take to the sky in this modern autogyro.
