PMDG announces the release of their 777-200ER Expansion for Prepar3D v4 and v5. The PMDG 777-200ER Expansion Package adds three new airframes to your 777 fleet, each with its own engine variant, performance mode, sound model, airframe and flight deck differences.
Developer Parallel 42 has announced the end of line for their 777 Immersion V1 product for Prepar3D v4. Initially released in 2014, this product improves the PMDG 777 with a variety of special effects. In its place a new V2 is coming which will support the PMDG 777 in Prepar3D v5, which includes a new -200ER variant.
On their Facebook page DCS World by Eagle Dynamics has showcased their work-in-progress AH-64D helicopter. Dedicated designers are working on photo-realistic cockpit details and labels. In parallel, work continues on the external model textures.
New from Aerosoft for Prepar3D v4/v5 is Bratislava M. R. Stefanik Airport. It features a detailed airport infrastructure including administrative buildings, hangars, etc. plus static vehicles like fire trucks, fuel tankers and official vehicles. Also included is a detailed version of the city.
Just Flight has just posted an update on the progress of their Fokker F28 Fellowship for Prepar3D, showing a series of internal screen shots of the very detailed cockpit. The Captain, Co-Pilot and jump-seat positions are modelled with nearly all switches, knobs and levers animated and functional.
Orbx announces the release of another of their Landmarks and Cityscape series for Microsoft Flight Simulator with Brisbane City Pack. Being one of the most popular destinations in Australia, this river city is known for its amazing climate, subtropical alfresco lifestyle, and proximity to major tourist hotspots in Queensland.
The weekly update from the Microsoft Flight Simulator team reveals that a hotfix will be coming within the week to address the flaps issue that was introduced with World Update III. This will push back other previously announced updates by a week.
