    Remastered Wright Brothers Photos And FlightSim Historical Flight

    Flightsim fan Laurie Doering presents a video documentary on the Wright brothers first flights in 1903 at Kitty Hawk. He's taken original photographs from 1900-1905 and remastered them to tell the story of the development of the airplane. As a conclusion to the story, he uses MSFS 2020 for a scenic flight around Kitty Hawk as it looks today.

    Navigraph announces that Chart Cycle 2201 has been released. Update your tools and add-on aircraft FMS databases using the FMS Data Manager and using the Navigraph Navdata Center for MSFS 2020 users. The current Jeppesen charts are already available through the Navigraph Charts apps.

    This Day in Aviation--FH Phantom First Flight

    On this day in 1945, the McDonnell FH Phantom made its first flight. The Phantom was a twinjet fighter aircraft designed and first flown during World War II for the United States Navy. The Phantom was the first purely jet-powered aircraft to land on an American aircraft carrier.

    FlyJSim Releases Patch For Q4XP For X-Plane

    FlyJSim announces the release of v1.15 for their Q4XP for X-Plane. Along with a number of fixes, the updated version includes an improved pop-up FMS with borderless windows, added panel texture capture and added ability to scroll north-up MFD map.

    DC3 Airways Plans Recreation Of Berlin Airlift

    This February, virtual airline DC3 Airways will recreate the 1948/49 Berlin Airlift. A series of flights are planned using a total of 14 airfields, with some flights in bad weather and some at night, adhering as far as possible to the conditions and events of the period.
