FS2004 Scenery--Plover Cove Reservoir, in Tai Mei Tuk of Hong Kong. Hills, water, trees and flowers -- all the elements of the ideal Chinese landscape are to be found in the Plover Cove and Pat Sin Leng Country Parks. The Plover Cove Reservoir opened in 1968. During the period from 1968-1969, an average daily supply of 39,000,000 gallons was provided for public use. Fresh water coming from the Tai Mei Tuk Pumping Station of the Plover Cove Reservoir, was transferred to the Sha Tin Treatment Works, where after being filtered, it was delivered through pipelines in the Lion Rock Tunnel, to Kowloon and Hong Kong Island.
