    Review: Flight1 / JSS Simulations - Transall C-160

    The Transall C-160 from Flight1 and JSS Simulations comes with fully working systems including pressurization, highly detailed static elements including wheel chocks and pitot covers, 3D pilots and even a simulated discharge procedure. Reviewer Bill Stack puts the plane through its paces and finds it to be an accurate simulation from this new design team.

    G2XPL Tutorial

    G2XPL will allow you to create your own photo-scenery tiles for X-Plane. You can create single tiles within X-Plane or larger areas, like entire states, externally. Once installed it's not all that hard to use and in this tutorial James Lambe walks you through all the steps.

    Review: REX - WorldWide Airports HD

    With REX WorldWide Airports HD you get a package that transforms the entire look of your flight simulator (FSX or P3D). Much of your flightsim world is created from default objects, textures and lighting which this product transforms by using higher resolution and new and better looking textures. Reviewer Michael Hayward has spent some time using it and finds it to be one of the best add-ons he uses.

    Road Trip: FlightSimCon 2017

    Tutorial: IFR Approach to PABE

    Instrument pilots have to deal with a variety of landing approaches. In this tutorial, through the use of video and text, you are introduced to the VOR/DME ARC type of approach, flying into Bethal, Alaska. This tutorial is applicable no matter what sim you are using.

    Review: Cielosim - Jacksonville International Airport

    Jacksonville International Airport is really brought to life for FSX and Prepar3D pilots thanks to this scenery from Cielosim. Reviewer Aharon Dayan pays a visit and finds a lot to like, with scenery that has no performance penalties and lies in a very scenic part of the world.

    Review: Vidan Design - Billund X

    Reviewer Ray Andersen considers Billund one of his real world home airports, so was very excited to see Vidan Design offer Billund X for Microsoft Flight Simulator FSX and Lockheed Martin P3D. He found it to be highly detailed and very accurate, with great looking buildings, accurate ground markings, nice night effects and much more to see.

    Dovetail Games has announced the fourth community update for those using the Early Access version of Flight Sim World. This update, coming later this week, focuses on the aircraft, fixing some significant bugs and also on upgrading the Workshop so that it allows users to share flight plans.

    Historic Airline Group Continues To Grow

    The Historic Airline Group has added several aircraft and airlines to its operations. Cayman Airways has joined with 727-200 service from Grand Cayman to Cayman Brac, Miami and Houston. Also added is ValuJet DC-9 service from Miami to various US destinations. Air Cal has joined with numerous DC-9 and B737 flights out of San Jose.
